Nature Friday - A Beach Adventure

Hi friends,  a couple of weeks ago, Arty and I went to the Carmel area for the weekend in CeCe. Today, as a special honor to Arty, I thought you might like to tag along on a sunset walkie to Arty's Ocean!

Our RV Park was within walking distance to the beach. We walked past lots of boats.

Mama says this is a Marina. It is where people and fishermen keep their boats.

After we passed the boats, we crossed the street, we walked a bit further....

...and found this pretty trail we followed to
Arty's ocean!

The skies were so very pretty...

Our RV park is very close to those tall smoke stacks in the background!

We got to the ocean, and sat down to watch the ocean...and after a few minutes Arty, the great whale spotter, saw a WHALE!!!

Do you see it Rosy?!

Mama made a video of our fun beach walkie.
Warning to Lee and Phod's Mama: This movie contains whale sightings

Feel free to watch it HERE on YouTube

We sure are going to miss Arty, he taught us
to always make the most of every day!

Do you have a favorite memory of Arty?
Please tell us in the comments.

Thanks to all  our friends for the comforting words during this difficult time. We will be back to regular blogging next week.

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE to go to our Hoppity Page.

  3. We are so sad about losing Arty. He was a great guy but on the up side, he got to live life right up to the end, doing what he loved with his family. The photos are beautiful. Hugs to you all.

  6. i had to take a moment to get myself together after watching this video. I am so very happy that Arty had his most favorite of all places to visit as his last memories. Our memory of Arty is when he found a beach house just like Big boys beach house and we shared Arty's Photo on Beaus Blog... Good bye Little Man, kiss my Big Boy for me in heaven.. https://fourpawsetc.blogspot.com/2020/03/fish-you-were-here.html

the skies in these photos are beyond my words to describe the beauty

  8. What a beautiful beach walk you all had. How great that you got to see a whale there, too. It's hard to pick a favorite memory of Arty because there are so many good ones. We do think he was excellent at Mayor during his time in office. We will miss you dear Arty.
