Hi my name is Bilbo and I am the Alpha of the Norte Pack and this is my house!
My sister Dory has relented and is letting me have Tuesdays on her Blog (or maybe she is just out in her yard squirrel hunting and I accidentally closed our door to the outside...ummmm, whoops).
I wanted to put to rest all of the rumors saying that I am a Growley puppy and not a Smiley puppy like Dory. Sure...I can be stern...
Someone has to rule over the house right?
But I have a softer side. I really do. Like last night, after I put Mommy and Dory to bed and Daddy was downstairs doing Daddy stuff with his little talky box, I went upstairs and snuggled RIGHT NEXT to Mama. I could of layed ANYWHERE on that big bed, but I wanted to make sure Mama felt safe and warm so I snuggled up WAY CLOSE.
I also sometimes LET Dory have my cookies. She thinks she is stealing them, but I really don't want them anyway so I let her have them. I also let her have my food sometimes...The Mama worries when I don't eat ALL THE TIME like Dory does, so sometimes I let Dory eat some of my food if the Mama and Daddy don't pick it up before going out. Of course, I also make sure to take it back out of her bowl sometimes...just sometimes tho.
So really...I am just a shy little dude who doesn't like his schedule changed. I like laying in sunny spots and staying within seeing or hearing distance of the Mama when she is home. I think my Mama and Daddy appreciate someone keeping them on schedule...Don't you??
Oh, PLEEEAAAASSSSSEEEE.......(What do you mean ~HUSH ~Mama??)
Mumble, Mumble..Mama's Boy...Mumble, Mumble

I just want to make it perfectly clear that there is NOTHING wrong with being a mama's boy. You know. Not that I AM one or anything.

Bilbo, I didn't want to start a fight in your house and you know how much I love Dory, but many of the blogs that have a brother or sister do give one day a week to them. Mango does and Joe Stains, so I think it is time to see my Bilbo one day a week. Mommy understands completely what you are saying. I am also shy and very protective of my Mom, I can't stand to be away from her. At night I snuggle right in by her also, pushing right up against her. We are all different in our own ways and that is what makes us so special. I love you and Dory both.
ReplyDeletelicks and sniffs,Sasha
Bilbo, you are a great big brother. How nice of you to let Dory have your cookies sometimes. That's love!

Wow Bilbo, you do the stern look very well!

Bilbo,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you get one day on Dory's blog.... you should try to get a few more days though!

Bilbo you seem very kind under your gruff exterior. Sometimes I get called grumpy cause I growl or occasionally attack giant dogs. We just have to make sure we get respect.
ReplyDeleteDeefor
Dory, you have to understand that boys are all talk and no action most of the time. They make a lot of noise and pretend to be all ruff and gruff but inside they are still little puppies at ♥. So don't let him upset you, it's just his insecurity barking!☺
ReplyDeleteBilbo - it's so nice that you got to have a day - I realize you probably had to wrestle Dory for it but you got it buddy! Good job!!!!!! It's also nice that you share your food with Dory....you're a good doggie Bilbo
ReplyDeleteHi, Bilbo...
ReplyDeleteIt was nice of Dory to let you borrow her Blog for a minute...Did you remember to open the door so she could get back in?
Anyway, it was good to hear from you...You are such a good boy to take such good care of your Mom & to keep your Mom & Dad on schedule...
Me & My Mom think you are just adorable...

I don't know, you talk the talk, but in my experience the gals are always in charge. I'm just sayin.

Is that like Intel Inside? Only with Bilbo?
ReplyDeleteHi Bilbro I believe that you are a misunderstood puppy!!! Thanks for sharing some of your inner thoughts. You are very cute,

Bilbo, you are adowable! You are a generous boy too and are stellar at keeping your family on schedule!
ReplyDeleteHi Bilbo,
ReplyDeleteIt is great to hear your side cause it helps me understand why Banjo does the things he does. You boys are just so different than us girls. Sometimes you are sweet and sometimes just plain weird!
Wags & wiggles,

So wonderful to hear from you Bilbo - someone has to keep the schedule it is very important

Every house needs an alpha dog. Even if he is a Momma's boy! A very cute one too :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a face Dory!

Hi Bilbo! I think you n Puffers have a lot in common...he's a mama's boy too. If she stops quick SHE has to pull him out of her..well..you know. He likes to get tween me n HER and he makes growly face noises at me if I get too jumpy/wild/runaroundclose. He'd rather stay inside and snooze and I'd rather go outside and dispatch squirrels. He could care less about tree rats. It's nice of Dory to let you update the bloggie...I don't think Puffers has typing skills, when he was born, they wrote with quill n ink by candlelite.

There's nothing wrong with wanting things a certain way!
ReplyDeleteHi Bilbo, it was nice to hear from you. Sisters always like to pick on their brothers, so you just hang in there and keep protecting the family. I see your soft side and thats nice of you to share your cookies etc. with Dory!!
ReplyDeleteYou are very cute too!!
Hope to see you post again sometime.

Hi Bilbo
ReplyDeleteWe think you are a very professional young man the way you take care of mummy and make sure the whole house is running smoothly. I'm sure all your family appreciate it.
Wags and kisses

Awwww, another sweet story about your special boy. ❤︎
ReplyDeleteAw, I adore this post. Sweet, sweet Bilbo. I'm glad that he closed the door to the back yard when Dory was out (whoops!) so that we could get to know him. Hugs to all of you.
