She's at it again......

Year after year....Mama finds new and silly ways to embarrass

FFHT-The Great Elf Fiasco

"Tell me a bedtime story Mr. Bilbo...PLEEEAAASSSSE"

Well Ernie I can tell you a story but you might have elfmares.....

"No I won't...I PAWMISE!!"

OK then......here we go....

Once upon a time there were three doggies.....Dory, Arty and Jakey. Now most of the year these doggies were pretty well behaved, but around the first day after Thanksgiving Arty and Jakey started acting up a bit....In order to help her Mama keep her brothers in line Dory enlisted the help of Santa and one of his elves (just like she heard about from her friend Bunny). So last summer ummmmm "E" the Elf came to live with Dory and her brothers.....

"E" just loved Miss Dory right from the start...Dory has always been the ~~kiss up~~ friendly one and has never met a stranger!!

Arty was not as friendly but he did not hurt "E"....in fact,

they both enjoyed getting into mischief together!

"E" got stuck playing in Arty's toy tree and...

....and was the bear bucket incident!!

Dory was able to smooth over most disagreements

BUT

"Things would never be the same after" Jakey met "E".

At first everything was fine, or it seemed to be...

THEN

"E" should have realized something was up by the way Jakey was staring at him earlier that day....

Jakey started getting a bit too close....

OH NO!!!!

"Oh no Mr. Bilbo.....

Is "E" OK?

Will Jakey be able to make it up "E" ??

Will Dory be able to smooth things over??

How much more mischief will Arty and "E" get into??"

Well Ernie.....you will have to stay tuned all month and tune into December's FFHT on December 26th!

Happy Thanks Blogville!

Happy Thanks Blogville Day Everybody!!!

Today we are all going to share why we are thankful for Blogville!!

I, Dory, am thankful that, even though we moved halfway across the country with our Mama and Daddy leaving all our friends in Texas......It was like we never moved in Blogville!!

I am also thankful to have had the chance to run for Mayor and meet such GREAT new friends, and get closer to old friends!!

I, Bilbo, am thankful for Blogville because we are all part of a big community that supports each other. It is nice to know that we always have each others backs!!

I, Jakey, am thankful that Blogville accepts me just the way I am....even if I am a stuffy-holic!

I, Arty, am thankful that, even though I am only two years old now, I know I am going to get to spend many years getting to know so many wonderful Blogville citizens!!

Most of all we are thankful for each and every one of our friends

YOU ALL ROCK!!!!!

We hope you have a pawesome Thanksgiving in the US and

Tasty Tuesday-Holiday Baking!

Once a year Mama breaks down and actually makes us some home made cookies!!

I, Dory, am making sure she has all the ingredients.... wheat flour, eggs, nonfat milk (powdered), salt and our favorite...PUMPKIN!!! Here is Arty to give you the recipe!!

Arty Flay here to narrate the recipe for Pumpkin Dog Biscuits (found on the interwebs)!

First you get your Mama

('cause she has thumbs and long legs)

and have her preheat the oven to 350 degrees

Have her break 2 eggs into a mixing bowl

Then add 1/2 cup of pumpkin and mix them up. After they are mixed together have her add 2 tablespoons of powdered nonfat milk, 2 1/2 cups of flour (Mama used wheat but all purpose is ok) and 1/2 teaspoon of salt....

Mama added 3 Tablespoons of water and mixed it with her hands until it all stuck together in a ball!

Don't worry if there is flour bits in the bottom of the bowl....you only want to mix it until it is all together.

Have your Mama use a rolling pin and roll the dough until it is about a half inch thick and

take your favorite cookie cutter (or the rim of a glass) and cut the shapes and put them on an ungreased cookie sheet

(Mama cheated and used parchment paper 'cause she is lazy about cleaning up).

Now it is the hardest part WAITING. You have to let them bake for 20 minutes and THEN have your Mama turn them over and bake them for 20 MORE minutes....

and THEN they have to COOL!!!
