We thought with all the chilly weather and snow some of you across the world have had lately, it might be nice to warm up a bit. Hopefully these pictures we found in Mama's archives of the trip to Kauai, Hawaii in 2016 will help!

Kauai is nicknamed the Garden Island, the above flowers are only a small sampling of the beautiful flora and fauna that covers the island!

...and lava shelved blowholes were two of Mama's most favorite things about the island!

This is the NeNe, Hawaii's State Bird
The locals call this guy the island bird because they are EVERYWHERE!!
