Sunny here today with a little ditty I wrote after 

Mama and Daddy to me on a "Pawrents and Me"

Road Trip last weekend...

 

Just Say No to Road Trips

I don't know why

I must go bye bye,

My pawrents insist I go

and all I feel is woe.

 

Could it be, on a trip

I get sicker than sick?

 

If I do take a pill

All I do is sit still

with my eyes all a glaze

and my mind in a haze

 

Now, don't get upset

If in CeCe I sit,

My sister is near and

I know I need not fear

 

But Jakey cannot be alone

and I cannot be the one to stay home

So on a road trip I sit

trying not to get sick! 

(From Mama:  Sunny, if you didn't pick on Jakey, you might be able  to stay home!)

Thankful for (Fencing) Friends

 

 

 Before Rosy explains our "Fencing" friends, I wanted to say how thankful I am for all of you. Thanks so much for making me feel so special during my birthday week and on my birthday. I am such a lucky gal!

Thanks Sunny, isn't Blogville great! 

As you might have noticed, we have a pretty big backyard, what you may not know is we have neighbor doggy friends on all sides! This can make for a fun day of Doggy Friend Fencing!

 

If you have never experienced Doggy Fencing, turn up the sound, watch and listen to the video Mama made!

 

(Mama said your Humans may NOT want to turn up the sounds unless they have headache medicine around)

 Isn't Doggy Fencing GREAT?!!!

Too bad our pawrents aren't as fond of it as we are...

BOL!

Waterfalls and Birdies on Nature Friday!

 Happy Nature Friday!

This week I want to show you my favorite place in our new backyard...

 

 

 My very own waterfall!

 Here we have a view from the front.

The water trickles down all day AND all night. It's so very soothing and it provides a nice cool drink to local birdies and flowers(ssshhhhh, don't tell Rosy, but bunnies drink from it too!)!

 

 

 These pretty flowers popped up around the waterfall this Spring....

 

 

 

 

....along with these pretty pansies!  

 

 

 

 All kind of birdies also come to take a little drink or sometimes even take a bath!

 From itty bitty finches like the one above....

 

...to cute little doves!

 

 

 

 It's not all fun and birdy games though.

 

 

 

I inspect the rocks every day...

     

 

 ...and make sure the pawrents keep the pool at the base of the waterfall filled with plenty of water!

 

 It might be hard work to maintain, but I love spending time watching my waterfall and all the nature it attracts!

Thankful for Experience!

 

When I think about my second birthday, I think how thankful I am to have had so many life experiences in such a little time!

I have learned how to wrap Daddy around my little paw

(I learned that REAL early!)

 

 

 

I've fought vicious leaves...and won!

 

 

 Being a COVID puppy, some might think I didn't get enough socialization(MAMA), 

but how many puppies under 2 years old do you know who have Donkey friends?!

 

 

 

 I get to ride in a house on wheels...

 

 

...and visit new and interesting places!!

 

Yes, I may be a bit of a diva, but I am thankful for all the experiences I have had in the past(almost) two years!

Well guys,  I looked at Mama's calendar again and saw that today was REALLY the reminder that my birthday is 1 week away, on April 25th...

 

So today is NOT really my birthday

 

 Oh Sunny, that's ok today IS the start of your Birthday Week!!!

Mama says us pups are so special that we should celebrate for at least a week!

 

Whew!
