Bee-having on Nature Friday

Welcome to Nature Friday, where we get to meet new friends and share a picture or two of what nature looks like around Blogville.
Today, we have some Buzzy Bee pictures from the ABQ Botanical Garden.

Mama really enjoyed taking these pictures because the colorful lantana made a beautiful background....

...and the bees were almost posing for her!

Mama even got some video:

(As always, feel free to visit our YouTube Channel HERE)

It's almost like the bees color coordinated with the flower!

Mama is amazed at their cute little furry bodies...

Can you see their beady little shiny eyes?!

Ok Mama, I'll behave...They were "cute" little
beady eyes.

Thanks for joining us for a look at some cute little buzzy bees and we hope all our friends get out to see some nature this weekend!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE  to go to our Hoppity Page.

  6. Those bees sure were loving that lantana. You are the only kind of bee we want to get close to, because you won't sting us, Rosy.

  10. I am terrified of bees, so I'm especially proud of myself when I get a good picture of one. These are beautiful. Have a great weekend! :)

  11. Java Bean: "Ayyy, whenever Dada sees a bunch of bees doing their thing he always says look at the sweet beeses hard at work! It's like he doesn't know 'bees' is already plural or something."
Lulu: "Dada is kind of wary of spicy sky raisins too but he still went up and picked figs the other day even though the bees are up there harvesting nectar. Apparently they're pretty docile as long as you don't grab them accidentally. Or, you know, on purpose."

  12. I have noticed that butterflies and bees and other insects often are the colors of what they are drawn to. in these photos I am thinking it is a protective thing. they blend in.. awesome bee photos and most of all I love he eyes of the bee-having Rosy. it looks like the weight of the bee if moving the beautiful flowers

  13. Bees, so important to all in nature (and so often misunderstood) ... beautiful photos! And Rosy-BeeRosy is of course, the best one of all, a real "honey"!
