Thankful Thursday

 
Today, on Thankful Thursday, I want to say how thankful I was that the balloons didn't fly too close to our house this year.

Mama thinks it was because of the winds and storm systems.....
But it may have had something to do with the letter I wrote to Mr. Mickey Mouse.

He was a really nice mouse. Especially when I  told him I would promote his park if he would talk to the other balloons about staying away from our neighborhood.

 He agreed, but made me promise to let his little mousey friends live in our fountain.

I took the deal.....
Thanks for keeping the balloons away, Mickey!
Don't tell Mama, ok????

    Niece Rosy you have made Aunty C nearly fall out of her chair laughing at you and your letter to Mr. MM. OMDs...I would never tell Mama that you promised Mr. MM to allow the mouse to stay AT LEAST he didn't make you promise to let the Sneaky snarly so aggravating squirrel stay.

    Are you two afraid of the balloons? When they used to fly here, we loved seeing them, but if they scare or bother you, I’m glad they stayed away.

    Mickey Mouse is a pretty nice guy. We have never seen balloons but Mom said her Kuvasz was scared of them and they are quite loud if they are close. Hopefully they will continue to stay away from your place.
