Robins Return on Backyard Wildlife Wednesday

We are celebrating November with gratitude again this year.  Every day during the month we will find something to be thankful for, be it big or small, to share with you.

Most backyards in states to the north of us look to American Red Robins to tell them when Spring begins. Here, in the high desert of New Mexico, the Robins like to come down here in the Fall and stay until the Spring.

Today, we are thankful the American Robins have made their way back to our backyard this Fall.
TC caught some fun footage of them playing in the fountain:

  8. THAT"S where they go!
Seriously. We might have a pair staying on this year. We had a single do that through a snowy, cold winter one year. We had a Baker's Dozen another year. In January of February.

I don't think the Robins in NC have the white markings around their eyes.

Lulu: "Which one is your favorite window?"
Charlee: "Whichever one has the water feature!"
