Early February, leftover leaves from 2024 and some ice covering the rocks.

No more ice and the ducks are starting to enjoy the pond.
April brought budding trees
May has the waterfall looking ready for the warmer months

The Summer months all look about the same at the Sasebo Garden Waterfall, lots of shady green. But there was a lot of color to be found in the garden, here is a little video of June-September colors at Sasebo:

Things are cooling down and the trees are getting ready for their Autumn display
...and Mama's favorite month at Sasebo, November! The trees are dressed in beautiful reds, golds and oranges to celebrate a beautiful year!
December brings beautiful decorations and colors to Sasebo at night. Mama and Daddy went to enjoy the "River of Lights" last weekend. The downside of this is the park looks a bit "meh" during the day, so Mama hasn't visited yet. We'll have more on the pretty holiday light show, later in the month.
Thanks for tagging along as we visited the Botanic Garden all year. Sasebo sure looked beautiful in 2025 and I'm sure we'll see more of it in 2026. BUT, we are hoping Mama finds a place to visit monthly next year that includes US pups too!

ReplyDeleteSasebo Gardens at the waterfall is sure pretty every single month and the flowers are all beauties too!
ReplyDeleteif I had a bucket list, this waterfall would be at the top. wow, its gorgeous no matter which month you go... the flowers are amazing and the yellow ones stand out to me the most. we have Selby gardens only 8 miles away but its been years since I was there.. I miss our walks in the free preserves, Selby is now 25 per visit. used to be 12 when I was going.

ReplyDeleteThis is the best way to watch the year passing! It is a shame you can't go, too, but I guess it is also quite good that mama gets some 'me time' for herself and has an excellent camera sense so that she can share it with us all! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Wow, your mom must really like it there to go every month! Our mom doesn't go to places like that unless she can take a dog. A dog friendly place would be nice but many of those places don't like dogs because so many owners don't have a clue how to respect things when they have a dog along. Here they offer like one or two days a year where you can bring a dog but we never go. Mom doesn't want to be surrounded by out of control dogs and their people. Have a wonderful weekend!
