Texas Travel Tuesday

 
A couple of weeks ago, we made our first LONG trip to Texas to keep the pawrents company while they did some things for Grandaddy. Today, we have a few peeks at our 87 million hour (or maybe 10 ) car ride. 

When they say "big open road" in Texas, they aren't kidding! It seemed like we drove 87 hours with only cotton and oil derricks to see.....

Every now and then there was a wind mill farm though!

We stopped in Sudan, Texas for lunch and a nice walk. Mama tried to get us to sit still for a picture but, sheesh Mama, we were in that car for a long time! All we wanted to do was sniff some sniffs and stretch our pawsies!

West Texas small towns, like the one where we stopped for lunch, are  pretty quiet and we had a nice time in Sudan, Texas. 

BUT
We were very happy to finally get to the small town of Kingsland and our little Air BnB house.

    We are used to the long car days. They are great for catching up on napping. Hope Texas was fun when you got there. One day we hope to make it there ourselves.

    Ten hours is a long time to stay confined in one spot but at least you girls travel in style!
