Hook 'Em and Letters are Ready

Mama and Daddy went to the UT-CFS game today and were

VERY happy when they got home. Looks like the Longhorns won again!!!

When Mama came home I told her to get her prehensile thumbs to work doing the letter from the Smileyface Contest. She, of course, got right to work to get them done (she knows that her annual purrrrformance review is coming up this month). So...here they are. Mama put buttons over on our side bar if the winners want to put them on their bloggies!

The Art of the Happy Dance by Bilbo

While Dory is taking some personal days after being  humiliated worn out after Halloween, I have taken my role as PA (pack alpha) in the blog world today this week. Today I wanted to show you a recent conversation Dory and I had regarding the "Art of the Happy Dance". Dory seems to think it should start AFTER Mama or Daddy get IN the door. I, on the other hand, KNOW it should start before the humans come in the door because it IS the happy dance that makes them come in faster!!!

Bilbo: "Dory, Daddy says Mama is home...are you ready for the happy dance???"
Dory: "Ummm Bilbo, should we really believe Daddy? "
Bilbo: "Daddy wouldn't fib about this Dory..It IS MAMA!!"
Dory: "Ok Bilbo, I am ready then"

Bilbo: "OK, we will start with a little woof..WOOF!"
Dory: "Ummmm Daddy, I do NOT hear Mama..."

Bilbo: "Dory...Stare at the door so Mama comes in...STARING.."
Dory: "Ummm...Bilbo, I still do NOT hear Mama"

Bilbo: "DORY...PAY ATTENTION!!!!"

Bilbo: "Did you hear that Dory?"
Dory: " I guess I heard something..."

Bilbo: "Start the Happy Dance Dory!! Jump up high...scratch on the way down
and WOOF WOOF WOOF."

Bilbo: "WOOF WOOF...SCRATCH SCRATCH".
Dory...where are you???"

Dory: "I am watching you Bilbo, that is some pawesome ear flappage dude!!
Have you been reading Fiona and Belle's bloggies so you could get the right  flip in your flappage???"
Bilbo: "WOOF WOOF WOOF...SCRATCHSCRATCH"

Dory: " I don't hear anything anymore Bilbo and I am TIRED!!"
Bilbo: "SIGH....Dory PERSERVERE!!!"

Bilbo: " I will wait RIGHT HERE until Mama comes in!!"

Dory: "OK Bilbo, I am going to lay down Mama is NOT home...

Daddy is playing with your head silly dog"


Note from the Mama: Thanks to the Daddy for the awesome pictures and he WAS playing with Bilbo's poor little head. This was the weekend I was away.

I had a Bad Dream

Last night I had a bad dream. 4 very blurry big dogs were all standing around me crying!!! Their tears got me ALL wet and then two of them started to slobber while they were crying, and the slobber was getting higher and higher until I thought I was going to have to SWIM!! Finally the doggies came into focus....

"Mango, Dexter, Gus, Waldo...what are you guys doing here??"

"Well Dory, we were sad because we didn't see our names on your Mama's card yesterday. aren't you our friend??""

"OH MY DOG!!! Of course you are my friends, it will be my assistant Mama that will not be my friend soon!!!"

Then I woke up....went over...and LICKED MAMA'S FACE (it was about 3am). When she woke up, I told her she was on "PROBATION" and that she better fis this BEFORE she did anything else this morning.
So here is the fixed card. Mama has not mailed it out because Daddy is gone and she cannot find any envelopes, she is going to mail it out tomorrow so if you don't see your name let us know....



Note from the Mama...I am really the one that woke up thinking I didn't remember writing down Mango and Dexter...and then realized I may have forgotten Gus and Waldo too...

11 More Hours

OK Tank...so I caved!

Actually I remembered what Mama sayed about C-O-M-P-R-O-M-I-S-E...and that's what we did. Here are the terms Mama agreed upon:

I would just be outside for one hour

I would get to sit on Daddy's lap

He would hand feed me cheetos, 1 for every 4 he ate

Next year I would get a NORMAL doggie costume  NO Rodents, NO Kitty Cats!!!

When we got back inside I would get my pressies and take off the rodent costume RIGHT AWAY!!

Thanks to all my friends for there support, it is nice to know that I have a place to go if Mama goes off the DEEP END again!!
