Here is me doing a SQUIRREL look while practicing my sit/stay technique!
Saturday Mama took me to the park. She says we are going to need to spend quality time together because she thinks that soon she will have a REAL job again and will be going to a workplace FIVE days instead of just THREE. For now I just say whatever...just make sure to keep the walkies coming!
Let's play a game...It's called find the birdie.
Do you see it??? Keep Looking. If you don't see it, Mama will show it to you at the end of the post
More sitting, this time on a rock! Not real comfy Mama. HURRY!
LOOK....DOGGIES!!!!!!
Mama said that she is thankful to have me to go on walkies with. These poor humans must be in trouble because their doggies did not come walk with them.
What do you mean "not everyone has a doggy, Mama??? Of COURSE everyone does!"
Sheesh....some Mamas...
Here is proof .... LOTS of peoples with their puppies in the doggy park.
We walked around most of the lake and had lots of fun!!
Mama is trying SO HARD to help me catch up on all the bloggies and get us entered in the contests that are associated with Mr. RH's Mango Minster, but this whole WORK THING is cramping our style. We will keep trying though. I told my Mama to be just like the little choo choo going up the hill..
She thinks she can,she thinks she can.
Know that if you don't hear from us that we are thinking of you all!

NOW...did you find the birdie???
There he is!!!
If you click on the picture you can biggefy (or at least get to flickr to biggefy).
Hi Dory,
ReplyDeleteThat was a great walkie at the park... yes, everyone does have a doggy, what is mama thinking! Since mama is going to work 5 days week soon, I'm sure mama would make it up to you and Bilbo somehow... more treats perhaps!
Licks, hero
We enjoyed going on your walkie with you Dory, what nice pictures.
ReplyDeleteMum couldn't see the bird at all (blind as a bat, bol).
You've got to feel sorry for people who don't have dogs, what a miserable life they must have, sigh.
Wags and kisses, Dinah Bridget and Elliot xx
Oooh, you have a big doggie park. Mine is very, very small--more like someone's backyard. I don't go there too much, I'd rather go walk the trails at the big park. I go after squirrels, birds don't interest me at all. You did a good sit-stay on that big rock! Work gets in the way of blogging for my mom too. Woof! Woof!
ReplyDeleteMy momma says she cannot walk without a dog. Just no fun at all.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
We LOVE the bark park!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm with Hero - I see more treatsies & stuffies in your future!
That was a great walk in the park! Congratulations to your mama on being able to go back to work more, well, sort of!
ReplyDeleteBunny
I didn't know that there were people who didn't have a dawg. So what's with that?? Why are there dawgs in shelters and stuff? There are people out there that NEED a dawg.
ReplyDeleteDory that is one grrreat park you took your mom to. I am sure she enjoyed it. Take her more often. It'll keep her from becoming depressed about being away from you for two more days each week. I'm just sayin'.
It took my mom awhile but she found that bird! I could have helped her but she wanted to do it on her own. I'm so sorry your mom is going to be working 5 days a week! I feel your pain. Sometimes my mom works 6 days a week. Jeesh!
ReplyDeletePedro
Great walk Dory and you saw so much stuff. Humans without doggies??? what is up with that??
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a blast out walking and hope your mom gets caught up. MIne doesnt have a Real job just a half time job, lol

Woof! Woof! Dory. What a Lovely park. it's always FUN to walk with a DOG. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a pawsome walk Dory!!! We don't understand why everyone wouldn't have a doggie either! Can you imagine?
ReplyDeleteWoofs and Kisses!
I totally did not see the bird! BOL! And I think this work thing is tougher on us puppies than on our pawrents.
ReplyDeleteI seed the birdy!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very nice day at the park.

Hi Dory,
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun walkies. We don't have a doggie park, it would be nice if we did.
By the way...I like your leash!
Luv, Lucy (Woof!)
Hi Dorey,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your day at the park with us. It was fun and your sit and stay is grrreat!
Our mommy can not find the birdie! Are you kidding? She is as blind as a bat!
Luv ya,
Riley and Star.
man I couldn't find the bird! looks like it was a fun trip
ReplyDeleteSomeone has some very good eyes! And that's a lot of puppies at the puppy park. I hope you didn't get run over!
ReplyDeleteCool park - what a nice day! I wish I went with you.
ReplyDelete- Chloe
Hi Dory,
ReplyDeleteWe don't trust people that don't have a kitty or a dog at home... unless of course they have a good reason!
You look extra cute in all your sitting photos, very smiley!
We know it's a bummer that your mom might not be home as much but I'm sure having a 5 day a week job is important!
xo martine & the kiddlets
Hi Dory
ReplyDeleteThat looked like a great walk with all those other doggies to meet.
We were very impressed by your sit stay - we don't do anything that clever.
We are sorry to hear about your mom working.......we keep hoping ours will stop!
She tells us it is only part time but we like when humans are about!
love
Martha & Bailey xx
Our mom said she can't even walk to the neighbor's house without one of us. She must need us for balance or something.
ReplyDeletePlay bows,
Zim
We saw the bird straightaway but Mom has that knakhk!
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't really try she just does!
Tank woo fur sharing The Park and all those great pikhs!
Khongrats to your mom on the five day thing - we are envious!

Hi Dory,
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking us on your walkie. It has been a very long time since I went on a walkie for real, so it was nice to get out and see some interesting stuff. My mom spotted that white bird right off. She loves birds. That is a nice big dog park you visited. I hope they have a section for small dogs cause it looks like there could be some rowdy dogs at that place.
Waggles,
Bijou
Walkies are so much more fun when the humans have a pup along. Too bad for you that Mom has to go to a five day work week, but that might mean more treats, Dory. Just keep getting her to go for walks, that should help. We love walkies.
ReplyDeleteWoos, Phantom and Thunder
your park looks fun Dory! it's huge!
ReplyDeletewags-n-wiggles,
wild dingo
Very informative on the heron. I love playing "Find Waldo" but I usually set up my photos in such a way that I am the Waldo to look for. Haha
ReplyDeleteDory, you're becoming an expert at Sit/Stay and I'm not sure how to take this. On one hand, I'm very impressed, on the other, I wish my Linguini (I'm entering her in the competition) would sit so well.
Twink!
Hi, Dory!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are enjoying nice walkies with your mom before she goes to work all week long!
I saw the white bird in my first try!
Here, many families have dogs... but they don't take them out for walkies! Hmm...
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
Wow there is sure a lot going on in your park. Looks like you had lots of fun. We knew you were doing a squirrely the second me saw ya! BOL
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
We too have seen the sad sight of humans walking without a pooch pal. I mean, everyone does have a dog, right? No house is a home without a dog (cats definately DON'T count, plus they don't like walkies)! Maybe we need to form some sort of support group for these poor humans?? Oh, and tell your mom that a requirement for her "real job" be that you get to come to work with her :)
ReplyDeleteSnorts-
Brutus the Frenchie
I had to super-biggify the picture to find the bird!
ReplyDeleteGood squirrel look Dory and you are an expert with the sit/stay technique. That is a really big dog park with lots of good things to see.
