Squirrel fishing....Mama puts out bait for them...and then they magically appear
Birdie watching...
Squirrel Recon. I can overhear the diabolical squirrels as they tap out their nut code...they are just PRETENDING to eat those nuts
Sometimes there is a Squirrel du Soliel show that the squirrels perform.
Most likely as part of a covert plan to keep me occupied. I make sure to watch ALL the trees tho so they cannot sneak around!

But most of all there is sun for me to lay in to survey all that is mine!!!

Hugz&Khysses,

You are a good bird and squirrel watcher. You must be on your guard, those squirrels are sneaky.
ReplyDeleteSally Ann
We would love to visit your backyard, Dory, because we never see squirrels in ours. Not sure we would be content to just watch:)
ReplyDeleteAnd we would really love to take a sun-nap with you.
Woos and happy weekend, Phantom and Thunder

ReplyDeleteYour backyard looks like fun and you have alot to keep you busy. Do you chase the pesty squirrels or just let them hang around.

How fun to have so many friends visit your backyard. Do you and Bilbo chase the squirrels?
ReplyDeleteLove,
Teddy Bear
Dory, I LOVE your back yard too! You OWN it--looking all regal in your pose!! :) Tommy puts out that same bait--but we've not seen too many squirrels of late. Mayby their all in their tree houses, staying warm and watching Direct TV. :)
ReplyDeleteHi, Dory!
ReplyDeleteThose are good reasons to love your backyard!
I can see you can be entertained there with the squirrels and birds for a long time!
And sure the sun is an important reason too!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
What a nice backyard you've got! With all those activities, we can understand why you love your backyard. If only we have a backyard like yours.
ReplyDeleteThat is very nice of you to share your backyard with those squirels and birds. We know of some dogs that are much less willing to share with those critters!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a squirrel like the one you showed in your pictures, brown and white, with odd markings. Is this a special squirrel?
ReplyDeleteKeep having fun in your yard, Dory!
Kisses,
Ste;la
That's one great backyard you have there, Dory... all the activities to observe from afar whilst sun-bathing.
ReplyDeleteLicks, hero
Mom hates it when the wascally squirells get in the suet...she puts out plenty of seed for them , but they keep eating the suet...
ReplyDeleteWe had a nice warm day here too, and the sunshune felt soooo good!
Licks and sniffs,
Zack, Sassy and Buddy
That looks like a lovely warm day where you are. Now our snow has gone we have got non stop rain, ugh!
ReplyDeleteThose squirrels are really cute, it's nice of your Mum to feed them.
Wags and kisses, Dinah Bridget and Elliot xx
Very nice yard and squirrel bait, Dory. Moms and Dad just bought theirs and have put it out. We are watching, but no squirrels yet. It's really close to our lookout point, and we're not real quiet.
ReplyDeleteWoofs and Kisses!
Hi Dory
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty pictures! We can see why you love your backyard with so many things to see.....and chase...and bark at!

You have a very nice yard Dory. The best thing about it is, it isn't covered in snow!

Hi Dory and Bilbo,
ReplyDeleteWow, how cool is that? A two and one bird feeder. Now everybuddy is happy! Your so nice!
Luv,
Riley and Star.
Those squirrels are just plain evil. I hate it how they never let me catch them !
ReplyDeleteWow. Setting a trap for the squirrels! VERY clever!
ReplyDeleteLuv,
Dave
I love your backyard too. In fact, I should write a children's book about you and your backyard!
ReplyDeleteHi Dory! I love yer backyard too! You don't seem to have those nasty sand spurs like we get here in Floriduh. My Nana's yard is like yours, lots of birdie and squirrel feeders...and she has a creek bank with beavers. In the evening we see deer come out of the woods across the road. I'm not allowed to run free there cuz she doesn't have a fence and there are bears in the woods. It sure is nice of yer Momma to bait the traps...er feeders for you.
ReplyDeleteIf you get a chance, can you stop by my bloggie and help me pick out a picture for M.M.? I'm just not sure which to use and SHE won't setup a photo shoot for a new one.
Thanks bunches!
Bonnie
Dory..
ReplyDeleteYou are very very lucky! Your mom attracts birds and squirrels for you! Hmm how high can you jump!
I'm jelly of your sun and grass!
norwood

ReplyDeletePretty birdies! What a great look ou post!
ReplyDeleteThat's a fun backyard. I'd like it. Glad you enjoy your surroundings. You're lucky to have that nice yard and all of the entertaining things in it.
ReplyDeleteYou'll never get bored with a show like that! :)
ReplyDeleteHi dory! wow! must be very nice to be visited by soo many different species friends! We often get visits from pigeons too but the minute they see me they fly off...!!

ReplyDeleteOh Dory, you have a wonderful backyard. What a great place to keep an eye on those silly squirrels. It looks like the bait is working and you have lured them in, good job.
