The weather is cooling down here on the North Coast of Northern California and flowers are getting harder to find.
I sent Mama out to see what she could find this month.
Here is a drippy, webby whitish pink flower, it kinda looks like Queen's Ann Lace.
We have quite a few Purple Asters around,
a few blooming thistles,
Look, we still have some wild berries blooming!
Mama has also been getting flowers to brighten up the house, like these purple daisies, from the store!
There are still a few sunflowers around
We have a few these blooming thistle-ish type flowers
Mama found a purple morning glory flower!
We are wrapping up this month's Flower Friday with my most favorite and colorful flower.
Mama found it in a tree on one of her walks. We call it a Flower Child Flower!
We hope everyone has a fun and colorful weekend!!
Have a great weekend Ms Marvel!! Xxoo

Nice flowers for this time of year. We are waiting for the snow and cold, but it has been too warm around here. Sadly, even one of our hydrangea bushes recently got a new little flower.
ReplyDeleteyour flower child flower could be the center piece of a crown for a princess, that's super beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWow Dory, even though you are getting cooler weather you still have such beautiful flowers to find. Those flowers really brightened our day. Thanks for sharing.

Dory thanks for sharing your flowers with us. Our perennial garden is all cut down and there are no more wild flowers blooming either. We have to say though that we think you are the prettiest thing to look at in your post.
ReplyDeleteYou still managed to find some lovely flowers. Everything is about dead here.
