Arty here today to tell you about the kitty that lives at my dogtur's office and the way he scared me last week!
It all started off very innocently, I introduced myself...
We made a little small talk and I let him know I was there to take a blood test and get new flea medicine
....and then....
He tried to tell me Dr. H had a HUMONGOUS needle and was going to take ALL my bloods! Needless to say, I went over to have a talk with Mama about this...
She informed me that while yes, there would be a needle, it would be a small needle that would only take a small amount of my bloods...
I decided to let the kitty know that I knew he was trying to cause mischief.
I don't think he took it very well...
I went and got my bloods taken and although the needle WAS pretty big, the dogtur didn't take all of my blood....
BUT
The kitty kept looking at me the whole time we were waiting to pay the dogtur...it was a little scary
I think maybe I'll have Mama take me in the back way next dogtur visit!
Arty, I do not think that Kitty is at all nice. And you were obviously SO BRAVE.
ReplyDeleteToodle pip!
Bertie.
An orange kitty bein a teaser??? Tell me about it!
ReplyDeleteYa had it comin. All dogs do.
ReplyDeleteHari OM
ReplyDeleteArty, you don't fret about that bully-puss, sitting high and mighty at the vets. YOU have a wonderfurs home, with fabyoulush siblings AND a mummy and daddy all to yourself. That meany cat is just jealous!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
That was such an evil thing for that kitty to do. I've heard they can be very sneaky creatures - excluding Madi, of course!
ReplyDeleteMOL MOL MOL MOL this was so funny!! Mayor Arty my mom giggled.
ReplyDeleteMr. Resident Vet Kitty sitting up high like that must think he tuff stuff but in reality he is just a Counter Kitty. Thank goodness the entire process wasn't at all like he said.
My Vet has a kitty and a doggie entrance. Divided by a big counter like yours. There are 2 Counter Kitties there. They don't bother me but no telling what the tell the dogs on the side cause lots of times I hear whimpering from over there
Hugs madi your bfff
Mayor Arty we have a bunch of Blogville PSAs on today's post.
ReplyDeleteWe think blogger is holding the post hostage
Hugs madi your bfff
I am so glad the cat was a fibber and they did not take all your bloods... pretty kitty and you were so good to sit and talk and not try to get to that fibber cat
ReplyDeleteThat wasn't very nice of that kitty to say those things to you. We're glad your test wasn't too bad for you and we hope you got good results.
ReplyDeleteAww, that was mean of that kitty to tell you lies! The kitties at OUR dogtor's office are very nice and don't lie to us.
ReplyDeleteWell that wasn't very nice!
ReplyDeleteOh, that was not a nice kitty! I wonder if he teases all of the dogs that come there like that?
ReplyDeleteJan, Wag 'n Woof Pets
That was a very scary kitty! Hope your test was fine too. Nose licks and love from Moth xx
ReplyDeleteWe hope your blood test was all good, Arty. We have one of those kitties at our vet place too. But he is all black and he likes to sleep on a black pillow that is on one of the benches clients sit on in the waiting room. That darn cat has startled us so many times, and the Mom freaks out.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Well, Mr. Mayor, it could have been lots worse. The kitty could have tried to hurt you, like what happened to our Lexi several times (although not at the vet's). Glad you are all set with another year of HW prevention!
ReplyDeleteDon't let that kitty bug you pal, it was just some strange kitty humor!
ReplyDeleteKitties are VERY sneaky. Wonder what the staff would think if they knew he was 'scaring' clients. There's no way our vet could have a Vet Kitty. Bella even barks at the cat posters.
ReplyDeleteThat kit-cat can't pull one over on you!
ReplyDeleteCammie!
Don't let Madi see this comment butt me and Stanley would never trust a cat (except for Madi).
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
We'd have freaked out.
ReplyDeleteWe both talked about kitties today Arty!! Hope all was good with your bloods
ReplyDeletehugs
Mabel
Hazel too
87 liters of blood. Yikes
ReplyDeleteOh Arty, I gots one of those at our vettie too! Butts ours is black and white, and won;t DARE come near ME! heheheeee (can you guess why??? ☺)
ReplyDeleteI hopes you give that kitteh the TAIL the next time you see him!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
I would definitely go in the back way. You never know, the kitty might be the one drawing blood someday when you go there!
ReplyDeleteThat is so typical cat! Trust me, I live with two of them. Our vet used to have a cat too and it was all over the place.
ReplyDeleteThose 'cwafty' cats can sure mess up a poor dog's mind. Next time let her know she needs to be more respectful to the Mayor.
ReplyDeleteYou are so very brave! Pierre had to get his blood taken for his annual heartworm test this week. I don't get mine until next May so I just got two shots. No giant needles.
ReplyDeleteYour Pals, Bentley & Pierre
