Happy Flower Friday!!
Rosy is still soaking up attention working at Blog Paws and she asked me to fill in for her this week.
This week, I thought I would show you some of the pretty flowers we have been seeing at the Arcata Marsh so far this Spring!
We have been seeing lots and lots of yellow...
Especially these pretty yellow flowers!
Let's look at some other flowers along the trails!
Lots of trees are blooming! We saw this cool bunch of flowers hanging from one of the trees!
Mama really loves these pink blooms!
Here is a little yellow aster peeking out
These beautiful flox-y type flowers are out all year but are really colorful during the Spring!
Little white daisies can be found all along the grassy areas
Last, but not least...the orange beauties are just starting
bloom!

ReplyDeleteWell done Jakey, you handled that really well! The bright yellow flower is from a farm crop called 'rape'; the seeds are made to use oil which is very good for cooking, and lots of other things. It is a type of mustard. We have many fields of it here. I love to see that golden colour! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

Jakey - Thank you for the tour of all of your amazing flowers. I really love the tree blossoms, both the green ones hanging down and the pink ones. About 3000' lower than where we live, the trees are starting to blossom, and I love it! Your flowers are the best! (Tell Rosy not to work too hard - wink, wink!).
