I don't know about you, but for the past couple of days our Mama has been getting us up early cause of this Daylight Savings Time thing.
I don't understand why humans have to mess with our schedules....When I wake up early, it throws the whole day off kilter!
My naps are all out of whack, and to top it all off, Mama is grumpy too! How am I suppose to put up with this human nonsense?!
What's that??
My dinner will now be earlier??
Why didn't you say so Mama?
Bring on Daylight Savings Time!
For those affected in most the US, how do you deal with the time change??
We think it's best to focus on the positives, early dinner etc.

Bertie.
P.S. In the UK, our clocks don't Spring Forward until the end of the month.
we have the "old" time till the end of the month, but we hope the time change madness will stop now... it brings more trouble than good results, after so much years even pawliticians should see that...

ReplyDeletethe pawsitive, in my book, is the lighter evenings. Which, I guess, is why it is called 'daylight saving'! Why they don't just decide to move the entire universal timing system forward an hour and leave it there, I do not know... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
The sun doesn't come up as early for my morning walkie, Arty, but mom says to give it a little bit of time and everything will work out just fine. Eating earlier is always a positive thing, right!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't bother us much at all, but Mom says it is stupid and hopes states start passing laws to end it.
ReplyDeleteWe sure don't like it at all, it's dumb to play with the time.
ReplyDeleteDear Arty....you said it all in this sentence:"I don't understand why humans have to mess with our schedules....When I wake up early, it throws the whole day off kilter!"
ReplyDeleteAND on top of losing an hour this change makes for a Grumpy Grandfather clock which = a grumpy B-cat. Grandpa clock is not a fan of spring forward he is too heavy for the leap. B-cat. Over the years ( a lot) B-cat has tried several METHODS for setting it. No problem falling back though. B-cat might have lucked up this year. Whew not one HBO word was uttered

since you read my blog, you know I WHINE a LOT! I even did two posts on my whines not just one. I hate both time changes, but this is the one I hate the most and whine the most and today I am grumpy as a bear. we went to bed at our regular time and I could not go to sleep, 2 hours of staring at the ceiling and then I could not wake up... I went to the ymca grumpy and I am still grumpy and Arty you look so sleepy and tired but still adorable.
ReplyDeleteWe're sorry that the time change has made you a bit grumpy Arty. At least you get your dinner earlier so that is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteI had to chuckle. Your dinner will be earlier. All is right with the world.
ReplyDeleteYou're just adorable. I know you know that.
Have a woof woof day and week. My best to your peeps. ♥
The earlier dinner makes it all OK

Next month we'll be getting your lost hour....bwahaahaa! That means we'll have our dinner EARLIER!
ReplyDeleteI don't mind getting up, but I'm confused all day long! It's just crazy!
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
We don't mind the spring forward as much as the fall back. It seems to take a lot longer to get dinner when we fall back. But Mom made sure we all got long walks this weekend so we would be too tired to notice:)

Not very well. LOL I spend way too much time trying to figure out what time it really is!!

I hates it!!! Because Ma is grumpy and that makes everything bad! BOL! And MY internal puppy clock is off! I just don't likes it! Butts, Ma says it'll gets better next week when we've adjusted. whatevers.
ReplyDeleteKisses,

We are in the "hate it" camp too. By the time our circadian rhythms adapt, it's time to 'fall back.' So stupid and inefficient. You can't trick Father Time even if you manipulate clocks. Growl....
