Family Time on Nature Friday

TGIF!!!
Today, on Nature Friday, we thought we would take you on one of our recent family walkies!

It's wonderful to get out and have some nice family time while walking along some of our local trails.

We are seeing lots of green as the leaves start to fill out!

Even though the time change was hard to get use to, we are glad the sun is staying out a little longer each day.

All the shore birds are starting to arrive...

Halfway through the walkie we spotted this long billed curlew!

After we looked at the curlew for awhile, we hurried back to the car....

Before the rain caught up to us!

We hope everyone gets a chance to see some nature this weekend!

Show us your nature! It can be a picture of your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a walk! Any kind of nature picture will do(does not have to include a pet)!

OMD it really is spring proper over your side!!! Nothing like that good here. Yet. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx (Who has now put the linky badge on her sidebar at TAKE, cuz trying to keep up each week for the next three months is going to be tricky - even with all the new tek!)

  4. Our nature is pretty ugly right now. We are right in the middle of snow and spring and it is a mess. Looks like your area is greening up nicely.

  6. You saw a longbilled bird and became long shadowed pups. We also noticed that Jakey was the only one not showing his tongue on the walk. Hope you missed the rain. XOX Lucy and Xena

That long billed curlew is in need of a bill trim. LOL

We're heading to the boat today even though it's going to be a wet weekend. Lots of nature for us to see.

Have a woof woof day and weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥

  14. What a pretty family walk!!! Mom used to walk 3 or 4 of us at a time, but now she takes Lightning alone, then Misty and Timber together. It's almost that time now - we have another beautiful day here before a weekend of rain.
