Today we're joining Big, Simon and Miss Truffle and wishing Dr. Seuss a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! We invited the famous "Red Fish" and "Blue Fish" to join us today as we tell you a few fun facts about Dr. Seuss!
Hi fishies!!
Did you know Dr. Seuss wrote Green Eggs and Ham on a dare? That's right, his publisher dared him to write a book with only 50 words and a classic was born!!
I think Blue Fish is my new best friend but it seems Red Fish likes hats more than me. Speaking of hats, just like his character the Cat in the Hat, Dr. Seuss had a large collection of hats. Some say he had more than 300 hats at one time!
Mmmmm...it must be almost dinner time, these fishies are looking pretty nummy!
Did you hear that Dr. Seuss wasn't really a doctor? He started putting the title before his name in college so his writing would be taken more seriously(and because his father always wanted a doctor in the family BOL).

I hope you enjoyed learning a few fun facts about Dr. Seuss today!
Of course, it's not only Dr. Seuss's Birthday, it's also Read Across America Day so remember our Mama's favorite Dr. Seuss quote:
"The more that you read
The more things you will know
The more that you learn
The more places you'll GO!"
Now, would you like to go to lunch with me Blue Fish??
bwahahahaha
We're joining Simon, Big and Miss Truffle for
