This week we are reporting on the most fun day of our last trip, we spent the day in Carmel!! We spent some time walking around town...
and some Strollin' around town too!
We stopped by for a visit with Aunty Laurie, owner of The Sand Dollar Dog Company, and the creator of all our beautimous bandanas! We are standing in front of just a fraction of the fabric she has in stock.
From the SDDC we went to a beautiful Carmel House so Mama and Daddy could visit with Miss Laurie for a bit....they had a real lemon tree!!
and the most beautiful flowers.
But the bestest thing they had was.....
Quinlan and Emma!!!
Quinlan is my new best friend! He totally gets that I am a big dog in a small body!
Rosy tried telling Quin that I was HER best friend....but instead of keeping him away, Quin became infatuated with Rosy!
I have to admit, I had a little crush on Emma too, isn't she a beautiful girl?!
We asked Mama to put the pictures(and video) of our visit to Carmel into the movie
below:
You can also watch it HERE on YouTube
What a pawsome day, and I slept like a baby when we got back to CeCe!
I have to say, I am really enjoying our CeCe trips! In fact, Rosy says we are headed out again this weekend for Napa and my most favorite winery!
We are joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop this week!
oh how great that you met this wonderful new best friends... and we love the lemon tree!!!
ReplyDeleteWe want to know how many new bandanas you ordered, or was there so much to choose from you couldn't decide on anything? That happens to our mom sometimes. Glad you had a fun day.

ReplyDeleteCarmel, what a beautiful town ... what a beautiful visit you had there with so many things to do and see! And as usual, your Mom has shared wonderful photos with us ...
ReplyDeleteIt sure looks like you all had a great time together. You didn't introduce us to the black dog that was there too. Thanks for taking us along on your adventure.
ReplyDeleteLulu: "Ooh! I want to come and play with the dogs, too!"
ReplyDeleteI've not been to Carmel by the sea for a very long time. Need to fix that and soon.
ReplyDeleteNapa is the next adventure. I wonder what winery is your favorite. There are so many.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
Ooh, Carmel-by-the-Sea is one of my favorite places! Looks like fun was had by everyone.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a fun place and how cool to spend time with friends!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome trip!!! Mom had her eye on that yummy salad. When our human brother lived in San Jose many years ago, Mom was amazed at all the orange and lemon trees with fruit on them growing all along the sidewalks. Your friends Emma and Quin look like very nice pups!!!

ReplyDeleteSuch a fantastic day. It is a great day when you can play with friends.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased that handsome Quinlan respected your big dog/small body status Arty!
ReplyDeleteGoldens tend to understand things like that, Arty. Maybe why they are so popular. And we can see why you would crush on Emma. Don't worry, we won't tell your girl back home. Did y'all get any new bandanas while you were there? XOX Xena and Lucy
