Oh My Dog! It's that time of year my Rosy world has turned an interesting
color pink.
Awwww humans, you have to make sure you are very careful with any sparks or fire. Did you know a couple of years back we actually had a local forest fire caused by a truck that was dragging something metal...sparks caught the dried vegetation on fire!
The smoke from the fires to our east has decided to settle in our upper atmosphere. We sure hope it stays there, but we know many are suffering from heavy smoke in different areas around the country. We sure hope things clear up for them soon.
Most importantly, we are sending lots of POTP to all first responders(many from our local area) fighting
the fires to our north and east.
Remember what Smoky says...
"Only YOU can prevent forest fires!"
we send hugs to da firefighters and all who help to prevent fires...and we love smokey, he is always right
ReplyDeleteWe are so tired of the drought here and all the fires around. It is very scary and so sad too. Smokey the Bear needs to get back to his campaigning against fires.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great message from you and Smokey today, Rosy. We have our paws crossed that the fires can be put out soon.

ReplyDeleteRosy, this is a pawfect post of reminder and awareness. Well done to you and Smokey! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Niece Rosy fire is very high on my fear chart too.
ReplyDeleteWe can never be too careful. I send many purrs and thanks to all first responders.
You precious girl look adorable
Hugs Aunty HiC
It's sad to hear about the ever-raging fires out West. We've had some clear skies lately. But now and then, we'll get an apricot colored sunset.
ReplyDeleteWe have the same smoke here. I've not seen a blue sky in days now. We just got back from our walk and it's tougher to walk in the bad air.
ReplyDeleteYou're so precious. Pink is my favorite of all colors.
Bless our first responders and our firefighters. They do a fabulous job.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
This is a wonderful post, Rosy. We continuously send positive vibes for the first responders and we pray these horrible fires end soon.
ReplyDeleteRosy, you did a great job with this post, and we know the brave firefighters do a great job too.
ReplyDeleteWith the Western part of the US being so dry, you can never be too careful can you?
ReplyDeleteThose fires are so scary and you are so right sweet Rosy!
ReplyDeleteI bet people would listen to you if you replaced Smokey
ReplyDeleteAll those fires are very scary. Every time we hear them talking about the fires in CA, we worry about all of you. Do take care.

Lulu: "If only more people would listen to you and Smoky the Bear!"
ReplyDeleteRosy - I think you should do a commercial with Smokey the bear on fighting fire.
