The 31 Howli-Days of December

 

 

Happy December Everybuddy!!!

 

The howlidays are looking a bit different for us this year. Instead of baking cookies and putting up the tree, Mama and Daddy are packing up boxes and putting the house on the market.

Mama says we are moving again, this time out of California. I'll let Rosy tell you a bit more Friday about where we're moving.

 

 

 

 Anyway, Daddy brought most of the Christmas decorations to a storage place. The only decorations he didn't take, were the ones we wished he would have...

Seems Mama felt like she had to decorate something, so she decided to decorate US for the howlidays!

 

 

 

 

Every day in December, you should be able to find one of us, decorated for the howlidays, right here! Luckily, we are all paid well for these modeling gigs and don't mind too much.

We apologize if we can't comment much for the next month or so, but someone has to snoopervise the packing to make sure none our very important stuff isn't forgotten!!

Travel Tuesday -Sea Monsters and Birdies!

 

 

I saved one of the best moments from our last CeCe trip

for last. I took a nice stroll along the Moss Landing Marina to the Elkhorn Slough!

 

 

 

 We saw a BUNCH of birdies, starting with these silly seagulls sitting on a roof in the misty rain.

 

 

It was foggy and misty, when we stopped by this Diving Bell.

Humans actually used to underwater in this thing!

  

 

 

Something smells fishy....EEEK!!

 

 

 

 

 It's a giant squid!!! Luckily,  it was only a painting, but these big sea monsters can be found in the waters off the coast of Monterey Bay!

 

 

 When we got to the Elkhorn Slough, there were LOTS of birdies

 

 

 

Mama says these are a mix of Brown Pelicans and Great White Pelicans!

We had such a fun time visiting Carmel and Moss Landing!

Happy Thanksgiving

  

 This year I am thankful we got our very own wheelie house. I really enjoy our CeCe adventures!

 

 

 I am thankful that Mama made  ME the official taste tester for alllll

the Thanksgiving foodies!!

 I am thankful for Mama and Daddy and Greenies, of course!

 

We are all so very thankful for all our furiends, near and far.  All of your comments, cards, emails and condolences for the loss of Arty reminded us how much he was truly loved.

A Halloween Stroll on Travel Tuesday

 

 Arty and I got to do some trick or treating around Carmel by the Sea on Halloween Day. 

We had such a good time strolling up and down the streets.

 

 

 

 We stopped at Carmel Dog Shop, where we picked out a new fleecy vest for Jakey and a couple of cute T-Shirts for Sunny!

 

 

 

 Then we strolled by the Cypress Inn, formerly owned by Angel Doris Day.

 

 

 Then we went looking for our most favorite treat place.....

 

 

Brad's Barkery! They have the BEST doggy donuts EVER!!

 

 

 They were definitely Angel Arty's favorite!!

 

 

Arty said he would eat his donut in the shop(that is THE Brad giving Arty his donut)!

 

  I love them too, but like to save mine to eat in private(mostly so I don't have to share!). 

 

Mama made a video of our fun day walking around Carmel.

 We had the best time strolling in Carmel, and I am so glad I got to spend this special time with Arty before he had to leave for the Rainbow Bridge.

Nature Friday - A Beach Adventure

 

 Hi friends,  a couple of weeks ago, Arty and I went to the Carmel area for the weekend in CeCe. Today, as a special honor to Arty, I thought you might like to tag along on a sunset walkie to Arty's Ocean!

 

 

Our RV Park was within walking distance to the beach. We walked past lots of boats.

 

 

 Mama says this is a Marina. It is where people and fishermen keep their boats.

 

 

 

After we passed the boats, we crossed the street, we walked a bit further....

 

 

 

...and found this pretty trail we followed to 

Arty's ocean!

 

 

 The skies were so very pretty...

 

 

 

 

 Our RV park is very close to those tall smoke stacks in the background!

 

 

 

 We got to the ocean, and sat down to watch the ocean...and after a few minutes Arty, the great whale spotter, saw a WHALE!!!
