WooWoo...Chugga Chugga Chugga
CHOO CHOO!
...OH, hi there! I have my serious Train Engineer face on for today's
Travel Tuesday as we take a look at the Happy Little Trains at ABQ Botanic Gardens!
This beautiful Model Train set up has been maintained by the New Mexico Garden Railroad Club since 1999 and do a wonderful job. Mama has seen their "Engineers" out on multiple occasions fixing the tracks.
They have multiple trains running on any given day, and the train garden runs down the side of the whole park.
The multiple suspension bridges are Mama's favorite....
The flowers in the Railway garden, along with the railways, are maintained year round.
We know because Mama went their all through the winter BOL!
Along with the trains and the bridges, the coolest little villages
are located throughout the Railway Garden!
Little towns fashioned after New Mexico towns!
Most of them have their own little train stations...
There are industrial areas...
Unfortunately, there is even some wreckage!
If you have a couple of minutes, feel free to take a ride on the
Happy Little Train around the park....
You can watch it HERE, on YouTube
Thanks for joining us on our visit to The Railway Gardens,
Rosy and Mama will be back Friday with a fairy tail from the
ABQ Botanic Garden!
We are joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for the
Happy Tuesday Blog Hop this week!
Ooh we absolutely adore those happy little trains. What a wonderfully creative model railway. Gail once visited a special model railway exhibition at the Verkehrshaus (Transport Museum) in Luzern, Switzerland, and says she's never seen so many utterly delighted museum visitors before or since!
