and maybe share a picture or two of what nature looks like around
Blogville. This week, we are headed back to Washington DC to take a look at the National Botanical Gardens.
Mama was a bit disappointed in the National Botanical Garden, and thought our local Gardens actually had a better selection of blooming plants. She did find a few flowers she liked though!
Mama has missed the Camillas she had in California...
She was happy to see a nice selection of them in full bloom!
The had some pretty tropical flowers in their Atrium also.

We hope you enjoyed our little visit to the National Botanical Gardens. Mama is sure they have a nicer selection of blooms in the late Spring and Summer, when the weather gets nicer!

ReplyDeleteThose are some pretty good blooms. The Asian banana tree is especially interesting. But home is best! Gail and I suspect your Mama was missing her you two pups during her visit to D.C.

It's always nice to see beautiful flowers in March! Mom has been to the National Botanical Gardens in DC and she loved it when she was there over 30 years ago.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers with the water droplets are always so beautiful. The Asian banana thing is really interesting. We have never seen such a thing. No flowers here. We are getting snow through the middle of next week. We are all excited about it but Mom is wondering how to keep it shoveled. We have some volunteers to do the driveway, so that is covered. Have a fun time with CeCe!
ReplyDeleteyour mama would love our Selby Gardens here. it has about every kind of flower that grows and also and entire atrium of nothing but orchids. I used to visit once a year, it was 12 per visit, now it is 25 per visit and above the purse strings. your flowers today are singing spring is here!

Those are all such pretty flowers. We're getting about 5" of snow this weekend so there will be no blossoms to find here.
