Welcome to Nature Friday where we get to meet new friends and share a picture or two of what nature looks like around Blogville. Happy May Day!! To celebrate, we have a few leftover Spring "this's and that's"!

This is a blooming hedgehog cacti (aka claret cup cactus)

That is a close up of one of the pretty orange blooms

This is a lilac bloom Mama found at the ABQ Zoo...

That is a California Poppy also found at the Zoo.

ANNOUNCEMENT
We want to let you know that the next couple of weeks that pawrents are taking off for their vacation across the pond. Through the magic of technology, we will have Backyard Wildlife Wednesday posts, along with Nature Friday Blog Hop posts(the hop links can be found on our hoppity page).
Unfortunately, Mama is NOT leaving us her computer password (because she is mean), so we won't be able to comment on your posts. We will probably be busy playing with Nanny K and making sure she gives us lots of treats anyways.
We will be back to regular posting Monday, May 18th.
Now, back to our post....
This is a cute Wood duck Mama saw at the Botanical Gardens this week.....

....and that is a cool looking snail.

Let's wrap things up with THIS Canadian Goose couple THAT has a gaggle of adorable gosslings!

We hope you enjoyed all the this's and that's on today's Nature Friday, and we hope all our friends get to experience some nature this weekend!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE to go to our Hoppity Page.
