Welcome to Nature Friday where we get to meet new friends and share a picture or two of what nature looks like around Blogville. Today, we are going to take a little drive through the Spanish Peaks area of Colorado (near where we stayed in LaVeta last month).

Views unfolded over every mountain

It seemed as if we had the roads all to ourselves...

...and we took our time to savor every mountain we saw.

You may be wondering why I am wearing all my Texas Longhorn stuff....Well our team played a nail biting game last week and WON! Mama has been celebrating all week (which includes dressing Sunny and I in a lot of burnt orange).
Anyway...let's get back to our Colorado ride

This barn mural was very cool, and made us feel like we had traveled back in time!

The Spanish Peaks have these cool wall like formations called "dikes" that run through the area.

All and all it was a beautiful drive, full of pretty scenery!

Thanks for joining us today for our little drive through the Spanish Peaks area of Southern Colorado.
We hope all our friends get to experience some nature this weekend and...
Hook Em Horns!!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE to go to our Hoppity Page.
