Grossbeak Family on BWW

Mama and I were just starting to wonder if maybe we weren't going to see any Black Headed Grosbeak birdies. Luckily, when Mama and I were going through the footage from TC in August found a whole family who have been visiting the fountain:

They sure are an interesting bunch, don't you think??

Travel Happy Tuesday - Walsenburg

While we were camping in Colorado, Mama and Daddy visited Walsenburg, a small town near the RV Park where we were staying.

As you know the pawrents, especially Daddy, are big fans of trains. In fact, Daddy is putting together his first train set-up since he was a little boy.

Walsenburg used to be a big coal mining town, and used trains to transport the coal.

The railroad tracks, along with buildings that lined the railroad tracks, made Walsenburg a great place for Daddy to walk around and get inspiration.

Walsenburg has a mix of Native American, Spanish and Pioneer influences and gave Daddy lots of ideas for future train towns!

Both this train station....

...and this cute caboose, were Mama's favorite train things!

Thank you for joining us on our little train tour around Walsenburg, Colorado.

We'll keep you updated on how Daddy's train set up is going!

Happy Labor Day from Texas

We are actually celebrating Labor Day, with the pawrents and Grandaddy, in Texas!

We'll make sure to have Mama and Daddy take pictures so we can report more next week!

Nature Friday - Campground Nature

Welcome to Nature Friday where we get to meet new friends and share a picture or two of what nature looks like around Blogville.

Today, We are going to show you some of the nature around We RV Champions, the campground where we stayed in Colorado!

The had a river walk that went around the whole park. We spent a bunch of time exploring, reading and responding to peemails along this trail.

There were benches to sit on and enjoy the pretty trees and listen to the river....
BUT
.....there was one little problem.....

Colorado is having a bad drought and the river was all dried up. We sure hope Southern Colorado gets a bunch of rain and snow in the coming months to fill up all the rivers that have dried up this year.

Don't worry though, there were still plenty of nature to see in the park....
They had a few little hummingbird gardens, like this one.

There were some pretty cone flowers

A few storms passed through too. Here are Sunny and I getting in a walk before one of the storms!

They had more than a few pretty painted rocks too. I especially liked this "Happy Camper" stone!

We had a really fun time exploring the campground and enjoying the nature it had to offer.

We sure hope all our friends find some nature this weekend!!

It seems that Blogger is having some "commenting issues", hopefully they will get it fixed up soon!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE  to go to our Hoppity Page.

Thankful for Morning ArCee Views

This week I am very thankful for morning campground views out the back window of ArCee from the comfort of the big bed
There were puppies and their humans walking by and, just behind those trees, was a HORSY farm.
I think mornings in ArCee might be my favorite part of the day
(besides walkie time, of course!).

Thank you to Maxwell and Angel Brian for hosting the

Travel Views on Travel Tuesday!

This week, on Happy Tuesday, we thought we'd show you all the views that make Mama (and Daddy too) happy during our trips in ArCee!

Mama has always loved road tripping, since she was a little girl (you know, back in the dark ages).

There is something about exploring new places that makes her extra happy!

Because they are up so high, and the windshield is soooo big, Mama is extra happy when she is riding in ArCee!

Mama made a video of all the views she enjoyed along our way to Colorado:

The only thing that makes her even more happy, are the views she sees when we get to the campground!!

Us?? We don't care too much about the views from ArCee, but we love all the smells we sniff when we get to our destination!

What are your thoughts on Road Tripping?

Texas Flowers

Welcome to the wonderful Friday each month where Nature Friday comes together with YAM Aunty's FFF!!  Make sure to visit YAM Aunty HERE to get the Rulez and join the FFF fun!!

Today, I wanted to show you some flower pictures I found on Mama's phone. Seems that even in the heat of the Texas Summer, Mama can find flowers!

Here is some pretty Blue Plumbago....

This beautiful pink centered Caladium was in a container by a hotel where Mama stayed. It reminded her of the Caladium Duke's Mama showed us!

Of course she saw lots of Black Eyed Susan's!!

OH, I didn't introduce you to BB (Baby Bevo)! BB is our new friend we brought home from Colorado.

BB, these are all our Blogville friends!

Back to the flowers...
Here is a nice pink Crepe Myrtle! Mama is always amazed how well Crepe Myrtles thrive in Central Texas!

Our last flower picture is a pretty pink Rosy that Mama took just for me!

Although it's not a flower, I couldn't sign off before showing you this colorful Texas sunset!!

Thanks for joining us for a look at the flowers Mama saw in Texas. Next week we will be telling you all about our fun trip to LaVeta, Colorado!

For now though, we hope all our friends get to experience some nature this weekend!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE  to go to our Hoppity Page.
