As we get close to the middle of August, New Mexico is reaching the start of Sunrise season!!
Unlike the clear sky June and July sunrises, we are waking up to some cloud cover which makes for some very colorful sunrises in our backyard!
The pinks, purples and oranges really glow, don't you think!
Of course, this means we are having a few boomers during the day. They pass over quickly though, and aren't very loud.
When you get colorful sunrises like this, the storms are worth it.
Even when the clouds are on the horizon, the sun makes itself known!
We are so very thankful to have beautiful sunrises to accompany our morning backyard strolls!
Thank you Brian for hosting the

ReplyDeleteVery pretty sunrises. We've had some good ones with the things the wildfire smoke does to the sky and sun this summer.
ReplyDeleteLulu: "NO BOOMERS!!!"
ReplyDeleteWe know it's a controversial view in Scotland, but we think skies always look better with a few (but not too many) clouds!

ReplyDeleteYou are an early morning riser like me, Rosy. I'm up at or before 6am for my breakfast to be served promptly. But this morning Chia and me, we both had to work on our pawrents to get up and feed us. It took 87 minutes!! XOX Xena
ReplyDeleteWow! Those are some extra special sunrises! We have been having a thunderstorm almost every day here in WNY. They don't last long, though.
