It is raining today. Mommy says it is the first rainy day
all summer. I don't care, the squirrels are running around
in my backyard, and I am being barricaded inside
and it is BORING....Mommy says to think back to last Wednesday when
we went to the lake...
We went in Daddy's bye bye machine 'cause Mommy and Daddy were too tired to scuber dive, welllllll really........
The lake is ever so low that it is a VERY long walk to
get into the water.
I didn't mind tho, more time for them to spend with me.
What Mommy...oh yes, we had visitors....

This Zoey is a friend that Raven introduced me to. Oh yeah
and this Zoey is a DOG.
Zoey and Raven went down to the lake...Daddy took me too, it was like a MILLION steps down to the water. At least the sun went behind the clouds, so it wasn't too hot.
Daddy and I came right back because DUH, I do not like the water Daddy!!
Then I saw Raven's Daddy carrying Raven up from the water....Poor Raven stepped on something

Glad Raven is fine! Last year we were hiking down to the desert from Julian and Tucker got tired, and I had to carry him BACK UP THE MOUNTAIN to Julian. That was Tucker's last long hike, I can tell you!

ReplyDeleteIt rained all day today and even yesterday, I went out with my Mom when she had to do errands and then I took a walk and got very wet. Mom said that I smelled like a plucked chicken! Yuck!

Oh yeah - it has been raining like crazy here too - something about low pressure around Corpus (?)- I have no idea what that means except that those dang squirrels are starting to act like they own the yard!

Sorry we couldn't pull though for you, those Trojans are gonna have a bigger head than ever! At least we gave 'em a good fight though - our defense rocked (well, until the last 8 minutes), but too bad our offense couldn't produce! Congrats on your victory nontheless!!

ReplyDeleteIt's been RAINING here too...buckets n buckets loads. The kind of rain that requires a rain coat and brellie or 'I'm not going out' rain. Still, I gots rain in my ears and had an earachie last night. The Mr. had to get up and put droppies in my ears. You are such a good friend to Raven, I hope he's ok. We hate to get owies on our feetsies.
