Katie of the Frozen Northland

First, I would like to thank Dory and her Mama for letting help with her bloggy while she is imprisoned  on vacation. I am suppose to let you all know that Dory will be back on New Year's Day!! Her Mama and Daddy will be traveling tomorrow back to Texas to bail them out  pick them up from their lovely accommodations!

 

Let me tell you a little about me and my family! I am the only puppy in the family but I do have my very own kitty!! I like to play with her, and sometimes I even try to carry her around in my mouth....I let her beat me with her paws sometimes to make her feel like she is the alpha pet!

You met my Daddy yesterday...I also have a human Mama and THREE human brothers that I LOVE to play with!!

 

I am munching my most favorite snack EVER in this picture...

ICE CUBES!!!

It doesn't matter if it is THIRTY BELOW outside, ICE CUBES are ALWAYS in season!!

I have lots of important jobs to do!! 

I keep the couches warm for the family

I keep the baby humans entertained...this is my Uncle A and my baby cousin I!!

Don't forget the most important rule when playing with baby humans; COVER YOUR EYES!!! Baby fingers just LOVE to poke doggie eyes!!!

 

One of my most important jobs during this trip to Nana's is to make sure that Uncle Ed does not miss his puppies. 

He is a pretty needy human, but I do my best to make him feel loved!! 

What do you mean Uncle Ed??? Dory won't be mad, she will be so very happy that I was here to love on you!!!

Guest Blogger - Cousin Katie

While we are in jail on vacation for a few days while Mama and Daddy are visiting Daddys family in the cold tundra of Whistful-cousin we decided this would be a good time to let our cousin Katie be our guest blogdog until we get home!

Hi all you peoples!! My name is Katie and I am 100% labradorkdor retriever!!! 





This is MY Daddy he is also Dory's Daddy's brother! 



I am practicing my lapdog skills, I think I may have to call Jakey to find out just how to do that curl up on Daddy's lap thing.




I am making sure that Uncle Ed gets lots of attention so he doesn't miss Dory, Jakey and Bilbo too much!!

The Funnest Christmas EVER - Part II-Cowboy's House

So where were we......

We opened our pressies and played and played and THEN Mama said....

"yada, yada, yada BYE BYE yada, yada GRANDMA yada COWBOY"

Well, I am all about BYE BYE and Jakey wanted to see COWBOY so we hopped in the car and Daddy drove us to the land of Kings, where Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Cowboy live!!

Mama, I'll just stay here and guard the house, OK??? 

 

Over the ranches and through the cows to Uncle Cowboys house we go!!

Are we there yet Mama??? I am not feeling so good....

Finally, after days and days....or maybe an hour we got there!!

Daddy and I spent some time chatting with Grandma and Grandpa.

Even Jakey spent some time with Daddy.

A fun time was had by efurry and human bodies!!

Christmas is all about celebrating Jesus's birthday with friends and family!! That's what makes it the funnest holiday EVER!!

The Funnest Christmas Ever - Part 1 - The PRESSIES!!!

Merry Christmas Efurrybody!!!! We hope that you all had a fun Christmas, I know we did!!!

First after we FINALLY got Mama to get outta bed this morning we went down stairs and..guess what??? SANTY PAWS WAS HERE!!!!! He brought Jake and me new tug squirrels and Bilbo gots a new Professor sweater.

You'll never guess what else we got....we got PRESSIES from the pups at Golden Pines!!!

we got our VERY OWN package in the mail!!! Mama says we can't open it until Christmas Morning...sheesh, mean ole Mama !

Thank goodness for Daddy, look what he brought home for us last night.....a friend of his at work got us DOGS pressies....and DADDY said we could open it (cause he is not a MEANIE like Mama).
