Sunny here, I know I was suppose to bring you colorful blossoms this week BUT, I thought it would be more fun to show you pictures of some green plants to help celebrate
St. Pawtrick's Day coming up next week!
Luckily, I found pictures of some cool desert green plants on Mama's phone!!
Mama says this is a garden of desert type plants native to California. She found it when visiting a park by the State Capitol Building in Sacramento.
Just look at all the different greens!
From the blueish green succulents to the yellow-y green cactus!
I like the star pattern left when they trimmed this cactus. The green edges and little circle in the middle cool, don't you think?
Those pickers on that cactus sure are pointy.
I wonder what they taste like
Mmmmmmmm
This cactus had little yellow flowery bits on the end. Mama told me those pickers would really hurt if I tried to take a nibble though.
Mama also says she is VERY glad we don't have any pointy cactus in the backyard...something about me nibbling on EVERYTHING.
Whatever Mama...let's move on
Isn't this succulent interesting? I really liked the green and yellow stripes on all the leaves!
Let's wrap the week up with this beautimous flowering Aloe. Don't the orange points look pretty next to the green??
It kinda matches my Lepra-Gnomes bandana!!
Thanks so much for joining me this week on Nature Friday, Jakey will be back next week with some pretty flowers for Nature Friday!!
