Sunny's Letter to Santa Paws

With Christmas coming up quick, I decided it wouldn't hurt to write a letter to Santa...especially after Mama mentioned it might help with my chances of staying on the "Nice List"

Here goes.....

Dear Santa,

No matter what you may have heard, I have been a very good girl this year. I have only fought with my sister a handful of times, and have rarely attacked my pawrents feeties at all! As for my barking, well someone needs to defend the house from the delivery people, bunnies, blowing dust and any strange noises, right??

I don't need very much for Christmas....A year's supply of Greenies and lots of Zuke's treats would be great. It would also be nice if you could talk to Mama and get her to stop dressing us up...at least for a few weeks!

Christmas Tree OH Christmas Tree?

Rosy was nice enough to let me host Nature Friday this week!!

It sure was nice of her to give up one of her coveted holiday nature slots.

This week we are going to look at some of the Christmas Trees the pawrents saw when they were in

Las Vegas for Thanksgiving!

They sure are sparkly, aren't they??

Look at the pretty ornaments...I would love to get my paws on them!

Mama says they were just starting to decorate when they were there.

But everything was beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

So many sparkly lights!!

Wow....they even had trees on top of counters!

Wait a minute, I am beginning to think these aren't REAL trees!!!

Is THAT why Rosy didn't want to host this week??? Is Mama showing FAKE NATURE????

I don't know of any gold sparkly "real" trees!! They sure are pretty though, and maybe those roses are real???

This Charlie Brown tree doesn't even look real Mama, but it sure is cute.

All the red ornaments and pretty lights make up a little for the lack of nature I guess.

Mama, you do realize, being hosts of Nature Friday, we have a responsibility to show REAL nature right???

OK, I suppose this shot of the Red Rocks makes up for the other lack of nature....

The Howlidays are Coming......

Starting this Friday, December 1st, we will begin 25 days of Howliday Fun!

Don't worry, from what Mama said, we will have a few Travel Tuesdays, Nature Fridays...

they will just be with a Howliday twist!

So Sunny, what your basically saying is we have at least 25 more days of dressing up.....

Hope Mama stocked up on the high quality howliday treats!

Squirrels - Friends or Foe?

It's that time of year when when Sunny and I have the age old argument of whether

Squirrles are friends.....or foe.

I, Rosy, am on the side of what I hope are most our readers...

Squirrels were born to be chased, barked at and if at all possible, eliminated at all costs!

This was passed down to me from Angel Dory, so it must be true!!

I, Sunny, am of a different ilk. Squirrels should be left to their own devices...and can even be friends to canines and felines alike! I have been known to sit on our back porch and let squirrels snack on our bird food when Miss "I must chase squirrels" Rosy is out on her bunny patrol walks with Daddy.

They aren't hurting anything...right???

Happy TV Tuesday

Today, I am thankful for evening recliner and TV time. We are currently watching all of the different Star Trek series, and are about halfway through Star Trek, the Next Generation. My favorite characters so far are Data and Wesley!

Happy Sisters on Thankful Thursday

This week we are thankful for two sisters, who have become good friends.

Being together is close quarters for 9 days had Mama and Daddy a little worried we might get snippy with each other. But we were very comfortable with each other, and there was no snippy-ness!

The pawrents are very thankful we got and are getting along so well together. We are thankful we have each other to complain to about our silly pawrents!
