Happy US Thanksgiving!

Today, we have our most important thankful of November,

our blogging buddies! 

We have been part of Mama's blogging journey for our whole lives. Now it's Sunny and I, before us is was angels Bilbo, Dory, Jakey and Arty. We have made so many friends over the past 16 years of blogging and even met some of you in the furs!  We appreciate every single one of you. Your comments, watching Mama's silly videos, taking part in our Nature Friday Blog Hops and just stopping by everyday mean so much to us. Thank you so much for making us a part of your lives.

We are celebrating November with gratitude again this year.  Every day during the month we will find something to be thankful for, be it big or small, to share with you.

In honor of US Thanksgiving this week, we wanted to honor the wonderful and delicious Turkey...BUT unfortunately, we don't have any turkeys that visit our backyard. Instead, we have the cute squeaks of  the Gambel's Quail

What's that Mama, some people think quail tastes like turkey?

I don't know...they may be too cute to eat.

Happy Travel Thankfuls

We are celebrating November with gratitude again this year.  Every day during the month we will find something to be thankful for, be it big or small, to share with you.

When we think about everything we have to be thankful for this year, we can't forget traveling.

We may not have gotten out as much as we wanted to, but we had some fun times on the road in 2025.

We started off the ear with a fun day trip to Amarillo, Texas to visit that silly Beaver, Buc-ee...

...and see the painted cars at the Bug Ranch.

We took ArCee to Tucumcari, NM where we visited Ute Lake

We went on walkies among the Lava beds in Grants, NM

and visited the Veteran's Park near Elephant Butte, NM.

 

We are so thankful for all the places we visited in 2025

and can't wait to see what the 2026 travel season brings!

From Mama: Speaking of travel,  you may not see us commenting the rest of the week as we will be enjoying a little vacay time.

We very thankful Mother Nature is putting on such a beautiful show this November. Today we are going to take a peek at all the different colors Sasebo Garden had to share this month.

These photos left both Mama and I pretty speechless and we thought it would be nice to keep quiet let you admire the beauty the Garden has to offer.

We are celebrating November with gratitude again this year.  Every day during the month we will find something to be thankful for, be it big or small, to share with you.

Today, on Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday, we are very thankful for each other. In fact, Mama and Daddy might be even more thankful than we are. If you are new to our blog, you may not know that we didn't always get along and for a few years, we couldn't have posed this close together. But with lots of patience and training (along with some medication for Sunny) we now play together, pose together and this year we have progressed  a step further!

We can both snuggle together on the couch...

This is something we couldn't have done a year ago, Mama and Daddy say this is definitely one of their top thankfuls of the year.

Flicker Fun

Seeing the Northern Flickers flitting around the fountain has us feeling pretty thankful on this Backyard Wildlife Wednesday.  Some of the Flickers stick around for the Summer, but we don't usually see them as much in the fountain.  It's nice to see them hanging out again:

Beautiful Autumn Leaves

Mother Nature may have gotten a late start with the Autumn leaves this year, but it was definitely worth the wait! Today, we are thankful for all the beautiful color that is surrounding us this November.

Mama put her camera into overdrive this Autumn and took pictures of soooo many Autumn leaves.  From our backyard to random places around town, she found pretty leaves everywhere.
