I told you all about how Uncle Cowboy was doing, but I forgot to introduce to my Aunt Callie. I have known all about her for a few years, but this was the first time that she let me in her room!
Isn't she a beautiful kitty?? She wouldn't let me get close...so Mama couldn't take a picture of both of us...
Maybe if I am a good girl Mama will get ME a kitty???
Oh I don't know, little Dory, kitties can be grouchy sometimes. But any kittie would be most lucky to have you as a pal.

We don't know anything about kitties. Maybe you should ask for a puppy.

Hello Aunt Callie, it is lovely to meet you.
ReplyDeleteYou are indeed a beautiful cat, such gorgeous markings on your head.
Hope you all get on well together.

Dory...that Aunty 'kitty' of yours is worth another try...she's gorgeous...I will most definitely try and adopt her!

Dory.....Callie is very beautiful and so fluffy. Tips on kitty friends, they like to meet you slow and easy. We kitties don't like sudden movements and I must admit we like to appear aloof and uninterested...when in fact we are interested....take baby steps with her she'll eventually come around.
ReplyDeleteRespectfully submitted,
Madi the original Diva Cat!!!!
Hi Dory,
ReplyDeleteAunt Callie is very pretty, she has lovely eyes.
I live with two kitties. Lilly is getting old and doesn't play much with me but she licks my snooter. Molly loves to play and sometimes Mom has to tell us to behave!
Luv, Lucy (Woof!)
Dory I agree that the cat is really pretty, butt... I think you should run that adoption idea past Bilbo furst. I'm just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteWooos Dory! We have a kitty, and they can be dangerous, always boxing woo and hissing a lot, Scampi seems to think he can herd the kitty, but Mum will not let him. A puppy would be better!

We love all of our kitty brothers and sisters. We have heard that some kitty brothers and sisters don't get along...hmmmm.
ReplyDeleteBe careful what you wish for, Dory. I've heard things about cats that might make you think twice... Callie is a pretty girl though, but we are happy to appreciate her from a distance!!

Callie is Very Pretty! But, um, a kitty? As much as I loved/respected/feared Mr. Bufus, and am thankful for having been able to spend time with him, I'm glad (mostly) that Mom and Dad got me a puppy rather than another kitty. I know the puppy is sort of driving Mom crazy (not a long drive, BTW!!! BOL!!!), but when she is all grown up like, I'll have a hiking partner/general partner in crime. And this is a good thing.

i do think Callie is pretty but you may want to consider another doggie??? i'm just looking out for you as we dawgs must stick together, yes???
ReplyDeleteyou do know that kitties don't understand us and vice versa.....no matter how hard we try

What beautiful markings! We agree with The Rock Ceek Scotties...a puppy is much better.

Oh, wow. Your aunt is beautiful! Now I see good looks run in your family!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a kit-cat. I'd love to have one, too - we could have a blast hanging out and napping and laying in sunbeams and stuff. I hope your chances of getting one are better than mine.
Play bows,
Zim
I think you might have fun with a kitty; you might be evenly matched. Mr. B keeps asking for his very own kitty when we see them when we're on walks. He used to live in a foster home with cats, and since he moved away and never saw it again he thought his cat friend died.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a kitty. They make good pals, but watch out for the claws!

Congratulations on your diplomatic relations. You fraternized with a kat you didn't have to? I have no choice! You sure you want your own? I guess you haven't been reading my blog...Okay, I know you have, but start paying attention.
ReplyDeleteTwink!
Oh Dory,
ReplyDeletedont know about a kitty!! They dont always like to socialize like you do, I have seen them hide out for yrs lol

Dory, mom says Callie is beautiful but I think she looks very grouchy like our cat Boomer. You may want to think twice about dis, Dory. Just saying...

are you sure you want a kitty? REALLY sure?
ReplyDeleteYou really want a kitty? I don't know...
ReplyDeleteBunny
Hi Dorey,
ReplyDeleteShe is a beautiful cat for sure. But she is probably set in her ways by now so we think a new little kitty for you and Bilbo would be fun!
Keep us posted!

She sure is pretty, Dory. Maybe she'll let you play with her next time. Is your Mommy thinking about getting you a kitty? Pawesome!

Your "aunt" is cute, but sometimes kitties don't act as cute as they look.

ReplyDeleteOooops... Just noticed the "AUNT" part... Sometimes, you have to put up with family. Actually, my Uncle J.R. was one of my favorite furpeople! He may have looked like a C-A-T but he was a dog at heart... OC
