Welcome to Nature Friday, where we get to meet new friends and share a picture or two of what nature looks like around Blogville.
Yesterday, on Rainbow Bridge Rememberance Day, the pawrents got to write their tributes to our Angels Bilbo, Dory, Jakey and Arty.
Today, Sunny and I thought we would write a little tribute to the Angels who came before us.

Thanks to Our Angels
Dear Bilbo, we thank you and, although we never met,
we think you taught Sunny to do leg rubbies, just like a cat.
Oh Dory, we thank you for ever so much,
The pawrents know to give us long walkies, lovies and such.
And Jakey, we miss you and your sweet gentle soul,
and of course for teaching the pawrents about morning cookies, nightly greenies and soft food from a bowl (YUM)!
Last but not least, Arty, who taught the pawrents patience and how travel with dogs can be fun.
Now we go all over, to play in the sun.
We are so grateful to the Angels before and we wanted to say,
Thank you for by making sure the pawrents came to us,
already trained!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE to go to our Hoppity Page.
What a heartfelt tribute. I still can't linger too long on memories of Mr T but am enormously grateful he wandered i to our lives and chose to stay on.

What wonderful tributes, Rosy and Sunny.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely tribute from you too. We feel the same way about those who are no longer with us. They all taught Mom more and more about what dogs like and need and they paved the way for every new dog to have a better life. Now it is our job to make sure life is even better for any future pups. You guys look adorable too.

ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing picture and tribute! Your angels were just that, weren't they.
ReplyDeleteEach angel was very much an individual and helped to make life even better for those who came after him or her. We will have to talk to our Mommy about how that has happened here! XOX Xena, Chia and Lucy

ReplyDeleteChaplin: "We feel the same way about our angels here, especially our legendary sister Trouble the Kitty. She is the kind of cat we aspire to being."
Lulu: "Lazy and scheming and riding around everywhere in a motorized cat cup?"
Chaplin: "You say all that like they're bad things."
