We are celebrating November with gratitude again this year. Every day during the month we will find something to be thankful for, be it big or small, to share with you.
Seeing the Northern Flickers flitting around the fountain has us feeling pretty thankful on this Backyard Wildlife Wednesday. Some of the Flickers stick around for the Summer, but we don't usually see them as much in the fountain. It's nice to see them hanging out again:

Dear Sunny, your color is GOLD, you sparkle and shine like the sun in the color gold. For some reason and I have no idea why, this video was so beautiful, by eyes actually teared up. I sat watching and thinking how much clear we can see Gods beauty with this cam than if I were there, yet I felt like I was there with them...

Downy, Hairy and red bellied Woodpeckers.

ReplyDeleteJUST AFTER WE RETURNED FROM OUR WALK I LOOKED AT THE BIRD FEEDER AND LO AND BEHOLD THERE WAS A N. FLICKER ON THE SHAFT WHERE THE SUET CAGE IS LOCATED.
