Before Fatty took over Birdy Circus, the Northern Flickers had become a bit territorial and thought they ran the circus.
Take a look at some of the silly antics TC caught:

We always thought they Flickers were skittish...but it seems like, all this time, they have really been bossing every other bird around.
Just another reason why I think birds are silly!

Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop this week!

ReplyDeleteFirst, Sunny, let me just say that you are looking simply GAWJUSS today!
As for the Flickers, I love that TC was able to capture evidence of their 'tood' - and I really enjoyed the backing track mama picked! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
The do seem to be big and bossy! You are looking so springy in yellow, Sunny!
ReplyDeletebehind the scenes with a flicker, who knew? the music is perfect. Yellow is your color, Sunny...
ReplyDeleteEvery species has those bully types I guess. In the duck/goose category it is the awful Canadian Geese that are just nasty.
ReplyDeleteFlicker fun can be fun to watch!
ReplyDeleteNiece Sunny OMDs I love you all decked out in Sun YELLOW.
ReplyDeleteAunty C does love the word Flickertude. Flickers are eye candy at my feeders.
Currently I'm in a war of wits with bully crows.....
Hugs AC
Birds are silly and they will fight over the food. Sharing for some just isn't in the cards. Great video. Not as cute as you are though.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Scritches to the pups and my very best to their wonderful peeps. ♥
Java Bean: "Ayyy, those flickers definitely have some 'get off my lawn!' energy going on! I don't know what their problem is."
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "Kind of like when you run to the front door or the window to bark at people going by on the sidewalk?"
Java Bean: "That is COMPLETELY different."
Sunny you photography so well ~ precious pic ~ never mind the silly birds ~ hugs, ^_^
