Flowery Friday

Welcome to Nature Friday where we get to meet new friends and share a picture or two of what nature looks like around Blogville.

Mama is getting out and about a little more and earlier this week she took a little stroll around the ABQ Botanical Garden looking for some Spring color. She wasn't dissappointed, as there was color around every turn. Starting with these pretty Iris's

She visited the Cactus garden and found this pretty Blue Plumbago

She also visited the Mediterranean garden and saw the bright red bromeliad....

...and some pretty white orchids too!

Oh, she saw some outside color too!

The bottle brush bush was blooming

The lenten roses were everywhere....

and Spring's favorite ambassador, the crocus, were sprouting.

We hope you enjoyed the colors Spring is bringing to our corner of Blogville.

Here's to a fun weekend filled with Nature for all our friends!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE  to go to our Hoppity Page.

My word that's a veritable bouquet of spring beautyousness! So glad that mama was able to make that walk - now you have to watch that she measures when and for how long, coz it can be too easy to overdo things! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  3. we did enjoy the colors of spring, and the bottle brush looks like our powder puff, and we have the blue plumbago but no blooms. we should have some next week since we got an inch of rain one night... we are under fire watch, drought and watering restrictions so no flowers. we also enjoyed your precious face

  4. That is good news your mom is starting to get out and about again. Our mom is like a caged animal if she has to rest and do nothing. Pretty flowers they have at the garden and they do look like spring. It is disgusting here, rain/snow mix, fog, mud, just not nice at all. We can't wait to leave town for a while!

  6. Your mom sure found some beautiful flowers. We almost have all our snow gone, but there is still more snow than grass showing today. It's supposed to reach 70 degrees here tomorrow so most of our snow should be gone.
