Nature Friday - Colorado Sunrise

Welcome to Nature Friday where we get to meet new friends and share a picture or two of what nature looks like around Blogville. Sunny here today, to show you my favorite camping activity, sunrise walkies!

I am a big fan of getting up with the sun, especially when we go glamping.

I am lucky that Mama is also a morning person, so it doesn't take much crying or barking to persuade her to get up and join me to watch the sunrise.

Once we get outside and see the skies, Mama forgives me for getting her up.

After all, the fresh air and rustle of the leaves under our paws is a great way to start the day!

The only problem is, once Mama gets outside with her camera, it's hard to get her back inside.

She notices every little color...

...and wants me to sit and be still while she takes her "artsy" pictures

I guess I don't blame her too much, it really was peaceful and pretty out there, even though we were only a few feet from ArCee.

I have to say, being outside in nature when the sun comes up is my most favorite part of glamping!

Show us your nature! It can be flowers, your current weather, a scene out of your window, or maybe a picture from a vacation, walk or other journey! Any kind of nature picture will do! If you don't see a link below, click HERE  to go to our Hoppity Page.

  1. Those are some stunning sunrises. Daddy often sees the sunrise, but that is because he's an insomniac.

  5. Our Mom forces us out of bed way too early pretty much every morning but we are used to it and we do enjoy our early walks to start our days. Thankfully we can go back to sleep after we get home. Pretty sunrise shots your mom captured.

  6. You sure found some pretty sunrises, Sunny. My mom is not a morning person so we almost never see the sun rise here.

  7. Niece Sunny in 2016 at the B.A.R. your mama taught me all about the perfect snap for a sunrise or a sunset. We stood in the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn in Indianapolis watchin a beautiful sunset.

  8. Java Bean: "Ayyy, the morning is a great time for a walk! Nice and cool and the critters are either still out or they just left, so it all smells wonderful!"
Lulu: "Our Dada is up before sunrise, too, but he doesn't take us for walks then, he sits at his computer doing computer things. His priorities are all messed up."
