We will have some pictures each Friday this month showing what Fall has been looking like around our corner of Blogville!
Starting this week with a look some colorful leaves!
From beautiful reds
to greens and orange
Even the cottonwood leaves have turned a vibrant yellow
For awhile there, we didn't think we would get any color. We had a dry summer followed by record breaking rains in October.
Japanese maples turning red...
Look at the pretty dark yellow veins in this leaf!
Leaf peeping may be one of Mama's favorite things about Autumn!
We'll wrap things up with this artsy picture Mama took.

That's rather spiffing golfing look you are sporting in that last photo Rosie. I didn't have you down as the golfing type (it ruins a good walk I believe). Very pretty colours where you live.

Java Bean: "Ayyy, we're glad you got some fall color after all, Rosy! Our Mama and Dada always used to like to head up into the Adirondacks to look at the leaves this time of year, too. It's been a long, long time since they did that, but I know Dada enjoys seeing it vicariously. Especially all the orange of course!"

You sure have lots of pretty leaves around you, Rosy. Most of our leaves are on the ground now but we had a spectacular show of color this year too.
