New Blogville Administration - City Manager


Hi Effuryone! If you don't know me,  I am Dory, the new City Manager of Blogville!
You may ask yourself, what does a City Manager do???
That is a pawsome question I asked myself too!!
Wikipee-dia says that some of the "basic roles and responsibilities...of a City Manager include":


Supervision of hiring of staff (and firing)......and
making sure all the administrative parts of City Hall
run smoothly





The preparation and submission of the annual budget to the city council??  Thank goodness Mama
was in bookkeeping for so long, hopefully she can help me with this!!




 Most of all I am here to help out our new Mayors, Murphy and Stanley, along with YOU, our Blogville Citizens, in any way I can!!

responsible pawstion!!


WAIT....Jakey has an announcement too!!!


I applied for the pawsition of Director of Artistic Services and found out last night that I got the job (Thanks Mayoral Doodz!)!!! 
 I am still researching exactly what I will be doing, but will tell you more this THURSDAY, so stay tuned!!

    Congrats, Dory. We know that you will do an awesome job. In our town, the city manager seems to be the one who is truly in charge... Hmmm - don't tell the Doodz about that!
