Pawlympics 2016 - Sitting Pretty!

Dory here today hosting the:

2016 Pawlympic Sitting Pretty Event!!

The judges were very impressed, but not surprised, at the amazing amount of sitting talent we have here in Blogville!!

So, without further ado, let's head to the stadium and take a look at our pawtheletes!!

We had some amazing pawticipants for the 
"Sitting Pretty in and Around the Porch" Category:

Dougie, from Zoolantry, looking pretty doing his 
"Regal Deck Sit"!

Oreo's best Buddette, and Bertie's Gal, Addi does a 
"Butt Stair Sit". 
The Butt Sit is very risky, with a high degree of difficulty!! Great job, Addi!

Ernie is looking very pretty, in a manly sort of way, doing a 
"Table Top Sit"!

 

Frankie warns us he is HANDSOMELY Pretty along with his 

"Elvis Impersonator Sit". 

Check out his Elvis lip!

  

Sarge is in a very pretty...I mean, handsome, 

"Flower Portrait Sit". 

This is one of my personal favorites!

Astro gets extra points for his 
"Horseback Sit".
Very nicely done, Astro!!

Fenris does his 
"Ignore Sit".
This sit is usually done when your assistant doesn't bring the correct payment amount to the photo shoot.
Great show of power, Fenris!!


Now, let's move to the indoor arena to see what kind of sitting is going on:

Casey and Jessie are doing a 
"Tandem Bed Sit". 
This sit also is also a very difficult one to pull off, but these two are up to the challenge!!

Walter does a 
"Smiley Sit",
 another one of my favorites!

Bentley doing one of the most difficult sits of all, a 
"SuperDog Sit". 
Don't try this at home unless you are getting paid with high quality treats!
Go Bentley!!

Easy is showing his feminine side with the French 
"Boudoir Sit"
Great job showing your sensitive side, Easy!!

Bertie shows his mad fashion skills with  my most favorite category, the beautiful 
"Pretty in Pink Sit"
 I just love Bertie's dress,  but I am afraid that Gail may be in for some payback if Addi sees him in it!!

Hazel is looks beautiful in her
 "Princess Grace Sit"
 I don't think I have ever seen it done better!

Jake is very majestic as he does his 
"Duke of Earl Sit"!!

Louis Armstrong has really got the
 "Coy Boy Sit"
 perfected!!

Here with the
 "Tandem Pawlitical Sit", 
are Blogville's current Mayors, 
Murphy and Stanley!

The rare 
"British Royalty Sit" 
is executed perfectly
by Princess Leah!!

Zaphod does an excellent job with the 
"I'm so Shy Sit"
My Mama is still
swooning!!

Noodle really rocks the
"Cutest Ears Sit"

Miss Molly is preforming another of my favorites, the
"Flowered Hat Sit", 
we bet she is picked up
for some fine gardening endorsements after the Pawlympics!!

Maggie and Cammie are surely doing the best
"Secret Agent Sit" 
I have ever seen!
That is you Maggie and Cammie, right??

Madi shows a variety of sits including her special, 
"Sun Puddle Sit"
that gal sure can rock a sun puddle, can't she??

"BOOM"
Arty?? Arty???....needless to say, Mabel is doing a very good
"Titanic Couch Sit". 
Arty fainted right after saying how much nicer she looks on the couch than Kate Winslet.

Thimble is looking stunning doing her
"Glow Sit"

Jessie does her
"Please Give Me Another Cookie Sit" 
with just the right amount of pout, don't you think??


Now, let's head over to the Outside Arena!

Casey gives us his double whammy
"Look of Love Sit"

 

Nellie really knows how to pull off the

"Isn't that a Squirrel? Sit"

You know I am enjoying Emma's
"Outside in Pink Sit"

Charlie waiting for lunch, while doing his
"Picnic Sit"

Delilah does her 
"Rock Sit" with determination!

Dui, Roxy and Bella doing the 
"Triple Tandem Bench Sit"
Appaws, Appaws!! There is a VERY
high degree of difficulty in this sit!!

Hailey really wows the judges with her
"Trail Sit"!

Oh Katy is looking very pretty
doing the
"Backyard BBQ Sit"!

Millie is wishing for cooler weather during her
"Snow Sit"

"Bond, Pierre Bond"
Needless to say, Pierre is looking very cool doing the
"James Bond Sit"

Mini looks very tropical doing her
"Hawaiian Sit"

Surrounded by beauty, Sam does his
"Scenery Sit"

Another difficult Tandem sit, Wyatt and Tegan looking pretty during their
"Gardening Sit" 
in front of some beautiful Wysteria!

Doing the "Stonewall Sit", Yang is looking very
pretty!

The judges deliberated for 87 hours and decided....

EVERYONE WINS A GOLD MEDAL!!!!
