Mama and Daddy finally told us about how this year, instead of abandoning us to go away, Bilbo would be getting a week long vacation with Nanny Ally and the rest of the family is going camping
IN A WHEELIE HOUSE!!!
We are planning things we want to do!
...and making lists of things not to forget!
If any of you have been camping we would appreciate any and all advice you could give us!
We are going to head up the 101 and go around the Washington State Peninsula!!
We don't leave until the end of April...
...but we CAN'T WAIT!!!

ReplyDeleteOh guys I am super green with jelly... that is my birthday week and I did have plans to go 'caravanning' (to me camping involves tents) myself, but that got scuppered by the impending roof repairs. I shall be living vicariously through your adventure!!! Key tip - get as close as you can to the shower/toilet block. Jus' sayin'... Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
WOW! Now that sounds like a grand adventure!!!! I don't know anything about camping, but can't wait to read of your adventures, maybe I can convince my momma to take me camping.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MY CATS THAT WILL BE SUCH FUN. ARE YOU RENTING AN RV? Hopefully you won't have issues like Lee, Phod, Lady and the Man had last year. LOL
ReplyDeleteSissy was in Girl Scouts she made it all the way to Junior scouts(6th grade). That summer they were planning a camping trip. They were sleeping in rustic cabins. Sis was excited until she found out that Camp Mary Atkins had no toilets you had to potty in the ground....fast forward to high school sis was invited to go camping in a pop up RV once with her bestie's family. Somebuddy forgot to tell sis a POP up does not have a toilet or a shower. Sis decided then and there she wasn't sleeping anywhere w/o indoor plumbing.
I'm sure you all will have in door plumbing though

how fun that is going to be!!! Mom says to make sure to take extra bedding! The first time they took Mr Bailey camping (he was still a pup) they could not get him to go potty. When they went to bed he jumped up and peed right in the middle!! BOL!
