Welcome to Travel Tuesday, the 2017 Edition! Where we let Mama show her pictures and we can share our Travel adventures!! This week we are going to start telling you about our camping adventures through the Olympic Peninsula!
Today's adventures are told by me, Arty! It all started with Jakey and I in our own little corner of the back seat of the Rogue. It was a little crowded because we had to bring all the comforts of home(lots of greenies, cookies and foodies!) to put in the camper! We were picking up the camper about 8 hours north of us in Portland, so Daddy and Mama decided we would make a stop halfway in Grants Pass, OR so we would be bright eyed and bushy tailed for our first day in the RV!
Anyways...on the way to Grants Pass we stopped at this pretty Rest Area!
It had pretty yellow flowers AND a waterfall!!
I tried to talk Mama into a snack, but she said we would be at the hotel in a couple of hours and then we could eat dinner!!
One nap later, we were at the La Quinta in Grants Pass, OR!!
We really enjoyed our stay at the La Quinta! They must have heard I was Bloggville's Mayor and they upgraded us to a suite!!!
Jakey and I went on a sunset walkie and then it was time for bed!!
This was the first time Jakey had stayed in a hotel with Mama AND Daddy, so he was afraid they I would kick him out of bed! I assured him as long as he stayed away from Mama there would be plenty of room!
We all got a good night's sleep and were excited to get on the road to pick up our wheelie house!!
Along the way we made a couple of potty stops. I tried to teach Jakey about making sure Mama had cookies for us before looking at the camera...he didn't really understand!
But me, I made sure Mama understood that I would NOT look at the camera until I made sure she had my reward!
Training Mamas sure is a lifetime challenge!
About 87 hours (or maybe 3) of driving through lots of trees we finally arrived.
Jakey couldn't wait to see the camper!!
We had lots of important questions! But Mama and Daddy wanted to move all the greenies and other stuff into the camper from the Rogue, so they said the answers would have to wait!
I got in the driver's seat to get ready to go but Daddy said he would drive first. That was fine with me, as long as he didn't let Mama drive!!
He did a great job!! He trucked along the freeways....
...and traveled smoothly along the back roads that wound their way to Washington State and our first stop!!
Thanks for joining us for our first Travel Tuesday this season and stay tuned next Tuesday as we continue our Camping Adventures and show you around...

We need to go on a big road trip like that too - it sounds like a lot of treats might be involved:) And in our case, we would be begging Mom to drive and not Dad - he has NO sense of direction whatsoever:)
