Happy Flower Friday!
This week we are continuing our special tropical flower adventure with some rainy day fun!
Mama was surprised to find out the side of the island where she wanted to go flower hunting, it rained almost every day. She didn't let it stop her though! Mama and Daddy made the most of it and, as a result, Mama got lots of pretty raindrop pictures!
Here we have some beautiful Allamanda covered in droplets.
Look over here in this tree....
We used to see these flowers in Texas! Mama calls them "Fireworks Flowers". They are technically some type of Calliandra flower. No matter their name, they look pretty covered in raindrops don't you think?
Here is a pretty pink Red Sister plant.
Look at the line of raindrops along one of its pretty pink leaves!
Last, but not least, a little raindrop on a Ixora Coccinea or Maui Red Flame(also known as a Jungle Geranium).
We hope you enjoyed our raindrops today
...and remember:
Have a pawesome weekend!!!

My mom is not a fan of rain at all, but the one thing she does like about it is raindrop photos. Nice ones!
ReplyDeleteFlowers like that sure do brighten up a rainy day! We've been getting a lot of rain here lately, I should have thought of doing raindrop photos! Although it's been a cool, not a tropical, rain, so not as much fun to be out in. :)
