Excuse me for not getting up, I'm still recovering from all the fun of St. Patrick's Day and have decided to take a nap outside in the nice warm sun.
It seems like Jakey has decided to take a walk with Mama today, leaving Sunny and I in charge of Nature Friday.
Since we only have a couple of weeks left before we move to our new backyard park, why don't we show them how Spring is Springing
in our Rental Backyard, Rosy!
Just when we thought this rose bush might be fading away....
We see new pretty red buds of new leaves to come!
I wonder what these buds will be Rosy, I sure hope they bloom before we leave!
These trees were a mystery for Mama, I remember her saying something about these almond looking seeds being all over the grass...
Thank goodness I googled them Sunny....
They are PEACH TREES!
These are pretty little blossoms that are starting to bloom. One day they might be peaches!
It's too bad we won't be here to eat them, Rosy. Mama says there are apples in our new backyard, they'll probably taste better anyway!
OH!!!! Tell everyone the exciting thing
we have been seeing out in our rental yard every morning, Rosy!
Oh, I almost forgot!! It seems we have a BUNNY that lives in our rental yard somewhere. He stands out in the middle of our little patch of grass every morning! I've been trying to catch it to find out if he is a nice Easter type of Bunny...or one of those trouble making bunnies that Lulu and the Hipster Kitties run into every now and then.
I'll keep you updated!
Here's hoping for a weekend full of Nature and Bunny chasing!

ReplyDeleteIt is always a delight to see the new shoots and sprouts on the vegetation at this time of the year... watch carefully, you might even see baby rabbits!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
we saw the furst signs of spring too.... and yes, we have a hangover from yesterday too.... tooooo much cake...
ReplyDeleteIt's so exciting to see buds on the trees! I hope you catch that bunny!
ReplyDeleteBetter take care of that bunny before you move! We still have ugliness and melting snow at home. Things won't be budding for a couple weeks yet. Enjoy your spring.
ReplyDeleteWe love to lay outside in the sun too, Rosey and it doesn't matter if it's the grass or a warm stone like the snakes like to do. Sunny, we love how your long body just fits on the huge rock! (We didn't realize you were in a temporary house. We can't wait to see all your fun adventures when you get to your for real new house with your pawrents!) XOX Xena, Lucy and Chia
ReplyDeleteDearest Nephew and Nieces...I 100% love red bud flowers...and the heart shaped leaves that stay on the tree all year. BUNNY! WooHoo I can hardly wait to start exploring your very very nice new personal back nature preserve.
ReplyDeleteHugs from aunty Cecilia
Spring is certainly on the way in your yard. Does the bunny leave you nice snacks in the grass? Ours do, but our parents try to pick up as much as they can before we get a chance to eat it.
ReplyDeleteI am very much enjoying your rental backyard and love peaches.. most of all i love how much you all love your rental yard and the sunshine... that baking stone is the perfect size to bake your bones on...
ReplyDeleteSpring is springing indeed. Beautiful spring too. I get to see all of you too. That's even better.
ReplyDeleteHave a woof woof day and weekend. Scritches all around and my best to your peeps. ♥
Some pretty damn good snaps here
ReplyDeleteSqueals...buds are forming-how exciting. We're pretty jealous you guys have your own backyard bunny (even if it's at the rental). We have to search for bunnies and sometimes we don't get to see them in the city. Have a wonderful weekend enjoying spring's arrival.
ReplyDeleteWOW, some bunny fun! I can't wait to see your new backyard, bet it will be fun!
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see the trees budding! Did you say "bunny?" We have a couple of them who sneak into our yard late at night.
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to see spring in your neck of the woods. Our plants are still sleeping but today's 76 degree temperatures might have woken them up.
ReplyDeleteYou give us hope that spring is really coming! Happy Spring! Lee and Phod
