Today we are thankful for "Back Porch Season"!!
This season usually lasts from late April until mid June, when it gets too hot during the day to sit outside.
But we can still come out and sit here in the evenings and early mornings.
Do you know my favorite thing about back porch season?
If you guessed hunting lizards and bunnies, you would be correct!
Hunting season and Back Porch season are one in the same for me!
I am soooooo thankful porch(hunting) season is here again!

ReplyDeleteIt looks like a nice place to relax. Happy hunting in your yard!
ReplyDeletewe love your back porch and would love to sit out there early AM.. the critters make it even better and of course the small dog on the sofa is the icing on the porch cake.. Mama and her kindle would be right there reading
ReplyDeleteNiece Rosy may I make reservations for 2 in the early morning to have coffee on your love seat!!?? This is actually back porch season here EXCEPT our neighbors have a GIANT un trimmed Ligustrum bush in FULLLLLLLL Bloom. And coupled with the humidity the odor is hideous and stinky and disgusting. We can't sit on our porch til the blooms are gone

Your back porch looks so relaxing and inviting! Happy hunting, Rosy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great porch you have there!!! We love our deck but Mom says it is badly in need of a huge makeover. And that could mean we lose our sunbathing spot for a long time:(

ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful porch to hang out on, Rosy. We hope you have a good hunting season. BOL!
ReplyDeleteOur peeps would get eaten by squitos if the porch wasn't screened. When we get our new backyard fence, we'll be able to go out it into the backyard and I can hunt lizzies and chippies and snakes! XOX your friend, Xena
