Welcome, come on in!!
We are thankful Mama finally finished Rosy and my room this week. Well, she says we have to share it of we have lots of company,
but mostly it is for Rosy and I to enjoy and keep all our stuff!
Let me give you a little tour!
To the left, when you walk in, are all our "current season" bandanas. In this case, we have our Spring and Summer bandanas hanging up.
(Daddy also keeps the router for this side of the house in here that's what the blue wire is for)
As you look to the right, you'll see our "off-season" and holiday bandanas.. Yes, Mama might be a bit addicted to bandanas but it's better than her putting us in dresses, so we put up with it!
We have the quilt Aunty C made for Mama hanging up too!
Above the closet are the pictures we have received from Chewy.com over the years. They have painted pictures of Rosy and I plus all the Angels that came before us! In this side of the closet are all our props, along with our birthday hats and some of Mama's craft stuff.
Thank goodness this is a big closet!!
On this side of the closet, we have all our shirts, hats and costumes that Mama is keeping in cloth bins.
We have a pretty big window where we can currently view the blooming crab apple tree.
We have a comfy bed for visitors and comfy beds for Rosy and I on the floor!
The most special thing in this room are our Angels and their memory case. Dory, Arty, Jakey and Bilbo are here to listen to us complain about Mama or answer any questions we have. They are also here in case Mama and Daddy want to come in and talk to them or just remember the fun times they had together. Just yesterday, we heard Mama telling them to be sure to look for a special new Angel.
Lightning, from the OP Pack, went over the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. Not only did Rosy and I know Lightning, but our Angels knew him too! We are sure they are all gathered around Tucker's Famous All you Can Eat Buffet telling stories of the crazy times they had in Blogville, and having lots of laughs!

Beau loves your ROOM, he has one, but it is also known as the humans walk in closet. His SPACE is the half of the closet under Mama's clothes. He has the long clothes at one end and the short at the other and has blankets, pillows on his bed. that is his sleep place at night. other than that he has the entire house to sleep where he wants to, owns no hats or props or clothing. one gotcha scarf, that belonged to Big Boy, and he shares that once a year. I am impressed with YOUR room and would very much enjoy a stay there
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice room you have. We love the bedspread, so perfect for you guys. We don't really do bandanas much, but our collar collection is like your bandana one. Ours all hang in the closet downstairs. We have a toy room with all out toys strewn about but it is not as nice as your room.

ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic room you two have. We don't have our own room, but we know the master bedroom is really ours and we just let our parents sleep there with us. BOL!
ReplyDeleteOMDs your own room...I love how the bandanas add splashes of color to your walls and I love how very organized mom has them arranged, the pictures are perfect. I love your display shelf for your Angels. Aunty was over the moon happy to meet Dory and Arty in 2016.
ReplyDeleteAunty C is 87,000 kinds of honored to see the quilted wall hanging she made. It looks very nice on the gorgeous shiny wood. Aunty envies whomever visits and has the honor of staying in there.
I agree sweet Woo Lightning was greeted by so many of his friends. I expect Dory and Madi might have twerked with happy when they saw him.
OH PS we quickly learned every room in the house was Madi's...we entered at her pleasure

Charlee: "That room of yours is pretty sweet! We used to have our own room, too, but then Mama took it over for her office and now we have to share it with her."

Your room is totally awesome. I don't think I have my own room, but Gail says that's 'cos I own the whole downstairs of the house!

ReplyDeleteWe are all still coping with the loss of Lightning, but we thank you so much for your compassionate tribute to him. We know he is now free from pain and enjoying having a good time with all the Angles there with him. We wish we could find a quick fi for our pain:(
