The ABQ Balloon Fiesta wrapped up last week which means that Mama will be sharing a LOT of balloon pictures and videos.
Take it away Mama:
The 53rd ABQ Balloon Fiesta looked a little different this year. The winds which usually bring the balloons over our neighborhood were disrupted because of storm systems in the area most of the week. With the exception of my visit to the Fiesta grounds and the day after, the balloons were scarce (in our neighborhood). In fact, for the first time since we have lived here, the balloons missed 3 days of flying due to the winds or rain.
Don't get me wrong we still had some beautiful encounters!
This balloon flew right over our back yard....
Rosy was NOT amused and stayed inside, Sunny barked at them persistently and (after Sunny went inside), I got exchanged pleasantries with them (yes, they were that close)!
This balloon has been flying over our house for the past couple of years...
I have always admired the beautiful colors, along with Tinker Bell of course!

OMDs Rosy and Sunny they were close enough for Mom to talk. She could haved offered them a cup of coffee and a muffin. Beth these are gorgeous and the video WOW.
