This week, we have a new yellow birdy. Mama thinks it is a Female Summer Tanager because of the shape if its beak, but it could also just be an American Goldfinch. Whatever it is, it sure is a pretty shade of yellow!

Hey little Yellow bird, quit being so bossy!
(Why are you laughing Mama??)
What birds are you all seeing out your windows this week??

Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop this week!
oh thats a special guy.... we saw a pigeon and dramacula... what a start...

ReplyDeleteSunny, I think your mama is correct about it being a Summer Tanager (f), for the bird it attacked is the American Goldfinch. The size difference became obvious then. What a great visitor to have! All that's needed now is a visitation from her partner in all his scarlet glory... Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
What a pretty little birdie!
ReplyDeleteAround here b is for birds and boring. There are mostly the same old blackbirds and robins that we see. Nothing very interesting but then we don't put out food or anything to attract birds.
ReplyDeleteEle é lindo! beijos,chica
ReplyDeleteI do not think it is a goldfinch because it looks too big. But I am no expert so please don't quote me. But we do have goldfinch all the time here winter and summer and it just didn't look right. I love your puppies!
ReplyDeleteI think your id is spot on. She sure was enjoying her bath time in the water. You are so cute in your little top hat, Sunny.
ReplyDeleteNiece Sunny first of all AC loves your sparkly gold hat and 2nd of all you are so funny.
ReplyDeleteThat Tanger needs to quickly learn you are Queen of Boss of the yard.
Guess what we have a rose breasted Grosbeak (male) visiting and we are thrilled beyond words.
